I've been using Dawn Platinum since it came out, and have love the effectiveness, and especially the scent. The latest bottle I opened smells like the worst cheap perfume, and has ruined Platinum for me! The brand new bottles I have will go in the garage for emergency use, and eventually to the trash. WHY would you take an excellent product and make it smell like gas station air freshener???

I have been using Dawn for 20+ years and it has always been my favorite. This Dawn Platinum is the best for removing stuck on foods from my dishes especially my pots and pans in just minutes with minimal wiping, grease disappears quickly . I highly recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to spend a lot of time doing dishes.

If I have something really tough, soak for a few minutes and they come out perfect. A little Dawn goes a long way. The others you need to use so much more just to get the same results. I have used Dawn for many years. I’m very unhappy with the “New Fresh Scent” it smells like perfume and lingers on dishes. I’ve been unable to locate the original scent. I’m hoping you will bring back the original scent. If this change is permanent I’m afraid I’ll have to find another brand.

I love the smell of this dish soap. I recommend dawn and any dawn dish soaps because not only do they clean your dishes and smell good you can use some of them for your dogs or other animals. Call dawn if you have any questions before you use it on your animals. I definitely recommend.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The new scent is so bad and repugnant. Please stop making this and go back to old formula. Whoever thought changing something that was fine should be fired. I don’t know who you treated this new scent on because clearly you failed. If you don’t read through these comments your “testing” team clearly failed you.

I LOVE Dawn. In my opinion you can't get a better dish soap. But it's usage goes way beyond dishes. I'm a professional window cleaner and this is the best for getting nice clean glass! Dawn cuts through practically anything. Stays sudsy. Highly recommend!

I’m not much of a “recommends products to people” type of guy, but one of the few exceptions has always been the dawn platinum for its genuinely superior cleaning ability—it’s something that I am very quick to mention to people and recommend over more expensive products or time intensive home-made cleaners. However. The new refreshing rain scent formulation has made it near impossible for me to keep the hand wash dishes clean in our house lately. The second I flip open the bottle, that pungent perfume makes my stomach churn, and if I was more than two dishes at a time, I unfailingly develop a headache. While I am *somewhat* sensitive to the scents of household products, I can usually just scrunch up my nose in distaste and power through it. The new formulation for the Refreshing Rain scent makes me feel physically ill, though. I’m so disappointed, too. I used to buy this scent because it *didn’t* bother me as much as the papaya or apple. Now I have paid for this huge bottle of soap that I do NOT want to use, which I wouldn’t have even bought if I’d known the scent had changed. If there was at least a sticker on the front or something on the label, I would have smelled it in the store and known to steer clear.

Unbelieveable cleaning ability, I use it for all my dishes, to take stains out of laundry and for baked on or stained dishes I haven't found anything that it won't work on, if you have a tough stain add a little and let it soak for a short amount of time and it will work on anything! It is very affordable and so worth every penny! It only takes a very little amount to do amazing things. I love every Dawn product I have tried but Platinum is the one I buy most often

This is my favorite dish soap. Mainly because you can use it for more than just dishes! It is a multipurpose soap. I love that I don't have to scrub forever to get caked on foods off my dishes and pans & I love that it can be used for multiple things
