Favorite dish soap around AND I can get a small bottle of it at the Dollar Store which is wonderful since we have a dishwasher and only use this on our nonstick and hard to clean cookware and stemware. Other brands and even other types of Dawn don't work as well as this one does.

I recently tried Dawn Platinum Dishwashing Liquid in the Refreshing Rain scent, and I love it! The scent is fresh and uplifting, making dishwashing feel less like a chore. It cuts through grease like a dream-not just on dishes but on various surfaces too. I've used it on pots, pans, and even my countertops, and it works wonders every time. Plus, a little goes a long way, so it's great value for money.

As others commented, the new scent is not pleasant. It reminds me of a laundry scent I used while I was pregnant with morning sickness. Unfortunately, the new scent makes my stomach queasy now and I will have to find some other dish detergent with a non offensive scent.

I have used dawn for years now that it has a new clean scent its horrible, everything i wash smells and absorbs the smell getting into the food and beverages we drink its literally ruined anything porous I own including my pets ceramic food bowls. When i dilute it to see if it helps it does not. I'm looking for a new dish soap. I can't believe this new soap would be safe for animal use in any way either. I hope common sense is used in this case.

I literally use this to clean everything! Showers, stains in clothes, fridge, counters, couple drops in mop water and obviously dishes. It’s good for everything and works amazing. I have 3 kids and they are always staining their clothes, put a little over the stain and wash. 99% of the time it comes out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it in my laundry and it beats all pre- treatment products I have used. This is the best multipurpose product ever. If you have children or even grown up stains like spilled coffee it WORKS!!! So easy to use and a little goes a long way. I LOVE DAWN PLATINUM POWER!!!

I didn't realize I purchased the new "clean scent" and it took me a few times of washing dishes to figure out what the awful smell was coming from. It reminds me of the fake smelling scented trash bags which for me leads to an instant headache. I have always used Dawn, but will be pruchasing a new brand unless they go back to the original scent.

The scent is not overpowering. Nice and pleasant. Packaging is all right. Cleans my dishes well and thoroughly, great price. Lasts quite a while and you don't go through so much. Recyclable Packaging. We have used Dawn for as long as I can remember. I recommend.

Dawn is the only dish washing soap brand i purchase in my home. I find that all other brands seem watered down and ineffective. This brand is powerful and totally gets everything off your dishes quickly without having to put up too much elbow grease.

So I honestly do not use this to wash my dishes with. I actually use it for my laundry. Squirting a little bit on a stain helps pick up most all stains in your clothes. Let the small amount of dawn dish soap, absorbed into the stain before throwing it into the washer to wash with all the rest of the clothes. Works great.
