[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I tried the Ben's Original Ready Rice, Coconut Jasmine variety. As for the 90 second microwave in the pouch, it was a simple prep. Just squeeze the pouch, tear a 2 inch length on the dotted line and place in the microwave. The pouch has two cool touch zones to remove the hot pouch from the microwave which worked great, and is a feature I have not seen on other microwave products. The rice was perfectly cooked. There also is a skillet option as well which we did not try. We both thought the coconut flavor was minimal at best. I personally did not like the sweetness of the rice, however my husband thought it was acceptably sweet. There is 5g sugar in a 1 cup serving. We served this with curry chicken and noticed this to be a bland side dish. Having made my own coconut rice, this pales in comparison. I personally would not buy this product.

It didn't have a weird plastic taste I was worried about. Just pop it in the microwave and go. It's a perfect amount for two people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Uncle Ben and I have for years. I was excited to try their ready rice but this was honestly kind of a disappointment. The taste is really off but I still love the brand and maybe it would have been different if I tried a different rice but this was awful. Their dry rice is amazing and I will still use it to this day but this was a major disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice tastes great, better than I was expecting with such a quick microwave time! It's very convenient and saves me a lot of time and the need to get out pans and do extra washing up. It's a great flavor and a good size. I would definitely use this regularly instead of cooking from scratch every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Basmati Family Size Rice from Ben's Original is super easy to prepare. You just pop it in the microwave and in minutes it's steamy, hot, moist, and tender. I like to pair it with pepper steak or orange chicken. It makes preparing the side dish super easy and it leaves more time for other things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We eat rice regularly, I have always had a little bit of a difficult time cooking it, so it would not come out either sticky or dry. This pouch method is amazing! Cooks up in 90 seconds. Rice comes out perfectly cooked. Not sticky and taste delicious! I was concerned it may have a funny taste due to the preparation, however, it is perfect! I immediately went and bought multiple packages after trying this! It's fast, convenient, and delicious! Definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ben's Original Basmati Ready Rice is delicious and a family favorite. The rice is easy to cook as all you have to do is tear the sides and cook for 1.5 minutes. The rice itself tastes great. Make sure you squeeze the pouch before opening and cooking it.
