[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ben's original ready basmati rice is very good. It doesn't taste or feel like the typical ready rice. The rice grain is very tasty and smooth. Some brands will have a weird texture or after taste, but not Ben's. It is ready in minutes! I like the convenience of having them when I am lazy or in a hungry state that all i want is have a rice ready to eat. I packaging is also secure and of quality insuring the rice in it is safe and well kept to keep it's freshness. I love it!

However, I an always careful about buying “instant” because I worry about the lack of flavor. However, I must say … this DID NOT disappoint.
