Took me about 2 or 3 times using to really get the hang of it. It cooks so evenly and I've used it a couple times as a smoker and the meat was so tender and juicy. There are also so many helpful videos and recipies you can look up on YouTube. I highly recommend Kamado Joe's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The is the last grill I will ever buy, with the exception of the Kamado Joe pellet grill. I absolutely love the features and the extras. Great breakfast machine! I start with putting in the 24" griddle and add bacon, then slice potatoes and fry in the bacon juices. then make scrambled eggs, french toast and pancakes all on the griddle, cleanup is easy!

The size makes it somewhat difficult to use only half of the surface. overall great purchase once adjusted to fuel use.
