I've now had my big joe 3 for over a year now and have done many cooks on it. I'll start by saying it isn't the best smoker or grill or griddle etc in myopinion, but it does all of that really well. Having something all in one is a great tool. I have a heavily modified off set, a 36" blackstone, a pit barrel, weber grill and other "toys". Yet I keep going to my kamado joe for my out door cooking. It's fun to use, and really easy after the learning curve. It's the only thing I use in the winter since it holds heat so well. Another "feature" I like is being able to save the unburned charcoal when shutting it down. It has tons of accessories, expensive but the choices are there. The only thing I've not done it yet, is a pizza and a rotisserie chicken. My family lives when I smoke wings in it. Me too cause after smoking to temp then I just get the fire on them and crisp them up. I could go on and on but just get yourself one and find out how great and fun this thing is.

Thick stainless steel pieces. Smooth working hinge. Heavy and thick ceramics. You will not be let down after spending a nice chunk of change for this bbq. The heat control alone is unparalleled to any other grill I've used. 3 hour 6 hour 9 hour cooks no problem for the Big Joe. A must have for any family man or woman that loves to cook mouth watering BBQ. The only conI can think of is I wish the cart was made out of heavier duty steel. It barely holds up to the weight of the Big Joe.

The size makes it somewhat difficult to use only half of the surface. overall great purchase once adjusted to fuel use.

Not only is it very fuel efficient, it maintains temp very well. The design distributes heat and smoke perfectly. I could not be happier. So much so, I've ordered a 2nd one for our cabin.

It is easy to start and there is a surprising amount of charcoal left for the next cook once I have shut it down. I have cooked some amazing meats and would definitely recommend this to anyone that is on the fence.

I have mostly used it to start getting into smoking with the new Sloroller and have found it quite enjoyable. The extra layer system for the divide and conquer has also made it a lot easier for me to grill veggies ,and vegetarian proteins, and meats, at the same time without having to start them separately. This has saved me a lot of time and pairing it with cooking with my Konnected has allowed me to grill a traditional simple meal while also trying new and more elaborate recipes.

Assembly was a breeze and while the unit is heavy I was able to easily move it up several stairs to set it up on my deck. The quality is unmatched in terms of features and so far I have had unbelievable results on a variety of different proteins. I am only a couple of weeks into its use but it has been easy to clean, holds temperature very well, and the various features it comes standard with have made cooking a breeze. Highly recommend!

Purchased over a couple years ago, it is the most consistent grill performer I have out of my line up. Never fail, always on point and accurate, easy to use, just perfect! It's also amazing the wide range of how you can cook on the KamadoJoe, it's not just a smoker, and not just a grill, not just a flat top, or pizza oven, or rotisserie, its EVERYTHING!

I was concerned about the learning curve and the transition from pellet to. KJ. VERY SMOOTH. I am impressed by the control of the heat and the quality of smoke. So fat have dome; chicken (whole and breast), tri-tip roast, flank steak, burgers also absolutely the best Mexican style roasted corn. Oh yes, two pizzas. All EXCELLENT.

There's enough cooking surface to feed a family of 7 or a party of 20. The quality of the grill is enough that requires little to no maintenance. The company is innovative with more accessories than you can imagine with all being functional. If you want to buy a grill and never have to replace then this is for you. The quality allows this to be a generational grill.
