I bought this grill Dec 2024. Love it wasn't much to assemble I was cooking on it in less then a hour. Does everything you need. Bake,grill, low and slow with ease. holds temp easily and very well built probably the last grill you will ever purchase.

I have done several top-notch cooks, including steaks, pull pork, pizza, bread, lamb shoulder, beef jerky, salmon, branzino, sea bass, tuna, smoked ribs, brisket, vegetables, etc.

It's paid for itself because now we don't go out to eat. And if we do I never get the high dollar steak because it's never as big or good as what I can make for a fraction of the price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 months ago I lived in an apartment and was only allowed a gas grill on my balcony. Life circumstances had forced me to part with my Webber kettle, I was ok with it though. I told myself soon I would live in a house again and I wanted a smoker anyway. I binge several YouTube chefs regularly and they all have that big green rival of Kamado Joe's...That's the one I thought I wanted. But, any kamado is an investment so I researched. I dove further down the YouTube rabbit hole, I consulted my friends, family, and several BBQ social media communities. What I found time and again, is that while no one was militantly dissatisfied with the Green, everyone that had both an egg and a Joe, seemed to like their Joe's better. The gasket is superior, it comes with a standard set of accessories that makes it easy for a first time owner, and what ultimately put me over the edge is Green's new CEO gutted their stellar warranty for 2024 screwing both their customers AND dealers in the process. This made Kamado Joe the far superior choice in my eyes. I'll be 37 in May, I'm just starting my BBQ journey and I have a lot to learn. I fully expect to leave my Big Joe III to my family for future generations to enjoy, it's that well built.

Purchased a couple of months ago and averaged 4 to 5 cooks a week on it and it takes your cooking to another level of enjoyment and quality. I went from a Weber charcoal and never looked back, it has become an obsession and my family loves everything cooked on the Kamado Joe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this 2-3 times a week. I've never had a more versatile grill. I smoke everything from trout to brisket low and slow. I also grill at high temps on both direct and indirect heat. There's nothing this grill can't do.

If you buy a small one then at some point you'll want a bigger one. I also bought the two best attachments the DoJoe and the Joetisserie.

I absolutely love my Kamado Joe!! It is a great smoker and grill compared to Big Green Egg. (which I have owned two over the years). I bought my Big Joe III last year for my birthday. It is a superior grill in every way...from the one finger lifting of the top to the heavy duty seal it provides, I can't say enough good things about my KJ. IT ROCKS!
