After just under 2 months of ownership I can say I'm glad I made the switch! It may not have the easy going of gas or pellet, but the finished results make up for that in my opinion.

It has not been an issue st all. Recently I added the Joetisserie and it has taken my barbecuing to whole another level.

The issue with the 18" one is that it's just ever so slightly short for feeding my whole family when they come over. This has made it possible and it's just great!

It takes a little more time and patience, but the results speak for themselves. If you are on the fence, just do it.

I've had this grill for a few years and having a family of 4 makes dinner time fun! The size of the grill allows me to set it up in many different configurations. When using half moon soapstone for example, its large enough to have all 4 burgers on getting smashed! If feeding larger group, I'm able to do a few pork shoulders or ribs at the same time. The Divide & Conquer rack is great for cooking things at different levels and temps. You get 3 different levels to choose from.

I have the rotisserie attached and it's great. Once you stabilize the grill at the desired temp it's a dream. No temp fluctuations. My stick burner smoker hasn't seen any action since we made our joe part of the family
