Its large size makes it easy to do two zone cooking or not need to always use multiple levels or move hot grates around. I like that it can cook everything from searing steaks to slow-smoking. It's a premium price but it's an all-in-one champ that gives great results. All I need in my backyard is a Big Joe III and a flat top to do just anything!

The grill is quality made. I really like the gasket versus other kamodo style grills. The air hinge makes opening the grill easy. Great Kamado grill fro. Great price.

The Kick Ash basket is easy to use. The divide and conquer system allows for multi-level cooking. The one finger open hinge is easy to operate, and latch seals the Kamado Joe closed. Finally, the included SLO Roller enhances the smoking experience.

I was concerned about the learning curve and the transition from pellet to. KJ. VERY SMOOTH. I am impressed by the control of the heat and the quality of smoke. So fat have dome; chicken (whole and breast), tri-tip roast, flank steak, burgers also absolutely the best Mexican style roasted corn. Oh yes, two pizzas. All EXCELLENT.

The way that it cooks is beyond anything I could have dreamed of. I went from making everything on a gas grill and doing a decent job to making incredibly tasty food with a lot less work. Once you learn how to get the grill fired up, the maintenance during a cook is really minimized. I love all of the accessories that come with the Big Joe as well. The SloRoller being my favorite. I've loved using the Joe so much that I purchased the Joetisserie and the DoJoe also. Would highly recommend this product 10 times over.
