[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm hitting 3 years now and I can truly say this smoker changed my life. I used to stay away from BBQ at home because I was so bad at it. I didn't realize I was using the wrong smoker. The Kamado Joe Big Joe has made me the envy of of my friends and neighbors. I cook everything on this. Ribs, brisket, chicken, turkey, fish, pizza and more! I even cold smoke salmon on it. Once you learn the nuances of kamado style cooking you can smoke like the pros.

Purchased our Classic Joe series 3 at start of Nov 24. Always owned gas bbq's and have a gas stove in kitchen. Convenience of gas is unbeatable but when it comes to flavor, the Kamado Joe wins hands down. So far have cooked chicken, tomahawks, brisket, leg of lamb and veg all turned out better than expected for first attempts. Added a pizza stone today and had a crack at homemade pizza. Everyone wanted more but ran out of dough. Enjoying the learning experience and there's plenty of beginner tutorials online. If you know how to start a fire you can use a Kamado Joe. Once you get the hang of controlling the temperature and wait for it to fully heat up before starting to cook it's worth the effort. Can't beat the taste of food cooked over hot charcoal.

This grill is, without a remotely close second, the best grill I have ever owned.With as well built as it is, am likely to not likely to ever need to purchase another one. I can easily smoke a full brisket & a spatchcocked 20 lb turkey on this Bad Boy----need I say more. I recently did a Snake River Farms Wagoo Gold Briskett that I would have won The American Royal with had I been able to enter it!

I purchased my Classic Joe III with Joe tisserie and half moon soapstone several years ago and am supremely satisfied. This grill and the accessories deliver every time and help me to produce food that wows all of our guests. From smoking brisket, chuck roast, pork butts, meatloaf to using the rotisserie for roaster chicken or picanha, to grilling fish, burgers, vegetables, etc., there is nothing this product can't do. I have family and friends that have Green Eggs, and while that is a fine product, in my opinion it doesn't hold a candle to the Kamodo Joe and the amazing accessories. Very well done, Kamodo Joe; keep innovating, keep the products coming, and keep "grilling" your competitors!!

I bought this last fall. KJ is addicting ... pizza perfect ... rotisserie ... perfect .... smoking perfect ... with the ikammad it will be ready for cooking in about same time as a gas grill. The flat cast iron grate. Additional cast iron pots make the uses endless... my 2 gas grills moved on to other homes this is all you need. Uses very little fuel, love the ash bucket, all the extra items that came with that were extras on the bge... was very much worth every penny. My other half tells everybody nothing has gone on there that has not come out perfect... he even eats veggies now. Overall i love it... did i mention the top is very easy to open and close ... i am older and not so strong.

I'm a grill-oholic. I grill 3-4 times a week. I have several nice grills. I my my Big Joe III almost a year ago. It did cost a bit but well worth it. It's the best for grilling and smoking. It comes with all the stuff that other grills make you buy extra. The quality and heavy construction will allow this grill to last for ever. Easy to set and maintain temperatures whether you are doing a long slow cook or a high heat cook.I just did a 17 1/2 hour brisket cook. Had a good bit of charcoal left over and an unbelievable piece of meat. The slow roller, that comes with it, is fantastic for long, slow cooks with great smoke. I could keep on about this cooker but gotta get ready for my next smoke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very Happy Husband here. My wife bought this as a Birthday gift now 2 years ago. I have not gone one weekend without firing up my Joe III! I have learned to smoke all kinds of meats, and have become that "grill dad". The immense heat that can be built in this thing is amazing. Steakhouse searing for the ribeyes and strips, low and slow for pork butts, and the cast iron plate for smash burgers and seafoods. There is nothing negative to say about the grill, it is used every weekend, heck I even made bread and pizza during Covid days. I hear people say, "oh you have the expensive grill" well the price is paid back at the value and quality of the build and results of amazing foods! I even have gone as far as become a gardener and make smoked peppers and salsa, again, unless possibilities and I LOVE my Kamado Joe almost as much as the person who bought it for me. ;-) Happy Spouse Happy House lol

Absolutely love this thing, I grill, smoke and the rotisserie setup is so nice.

Always produces well cooked food. Heat is controlled and consistent.
