I never write reviews but I can't say enough about my Kamado Joe - Big Joe III. I spent a lot of time researching smokers before I purchased anything and nothing came close, it's even Comsumer Reports number one pick for a Kamado grill. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Last night's spatchcock chicken with salmon appetizer was a hit with my picky 5y/o and more picky wife. Honestly everything I've cooked on the KJ has been some of the best food we've prepared at home and rivals local restaurants. There's no shortage of recipes and tips online through the community. The Classic 3 has some awesome features between air hinge, lid clasp, mesh gasket, upgraded cart, and the slo roller. Really an awesome value compared to other options on the market. It just feels premium. Grab one and get outside!

So glad I went ahead! The temperature control is SO easy, and its the flame deflectors make it simple to avoid burning. Plus the insulation and inductive heating allows you to keep the meat moist when slow cooking. These grills are brilliant and mine makes me look like an expert!

I've owned the classic 3 for two years, and I absolutely love it. The more I cook with it, the more I appreciate all it can achieve. And the couple times I've had issues, the support team has gone above and beyond to help me out. I highly recommend it

Did a 33lbs turkey spatchcocked for thanksgiving. Plus is looks great in the yard too

I bought this grill last year, and it is amazing. Everything that has come off the grill has exceptional taste. TOP OF THE LINE. However the top vent is flawed works great when it is new but eventually, it's almost impossible to open until the grill gets warm. Just the other day I tried cleaning the top vent with degreaser, and the paint has started to flake off. But the grill itself is fantastic

I received my classic 3 and immediately noticed that the bottom air vent was installed incorrectly. To make a long story short, the custom support and service was flawless (Darius and Lisa). I received a new grill within a week. My experience confirmed I'd made the right choice in buying the Kamado Joe vs the competition.

I have had the big Joe for a few years and it has proven to be an excellent purchase. I recommend Kamado Joe to everyone that ask what I use. I am actually looking into getting a smaller Kamardo setup for other style cooks. I'm a grill-oholic. I grill 3-4 times a week. I have several nice grills. I my my Big Joe III almost a year ago. It did cost a bit but well worth it. It's the best for grilling and smoking. It comes with all the stuff that other grills make you buy extra. The quality and heavy construction will allow this grill to last for ever. Easy to set and maintain temperatures whether you are doing a long slow cook or a high heat cook.I just did a 17 1/2 hour brisket cook. Had a good bit of charcoal left over and an unbelievable piece of meat. The slow roller, that comes with it, is fantastic for long, slow cooks with great smoke. I could keep on about this cooker but gotta get ready for my next smoke.

I'm 40 and threw down 3k for this monster. I owed it to myself to get this. Once you have enough lump coal set to your standard, you cannot mess it up. I cooked my neighbor the “best baby backs ribs” she had ever had and all I did was just put them on with temperature/ time control. Buy this masterpiece. What a company.
