Great instant dry yeast. The container once opened does not reseal. It does not need to be combined with water separately as some yeasts do. This worked great in our standard roll recipe. The rolls may have even rose quicker than they normally do. I would highly recommend for any baker. You will just need to rehome the yeast in another container to keep it fresh.

Member's Mark Red Instant Dry Yeast Is an awesome yeast I used to make some yummy bread. It was fresh and granular like you want to have your yeast. I used it just like any other active dry yeast. The result was a nice crusty bread that the whole family enjoyed

Unfortunately I wish I had read more of the reviews before purchasing, I have to echo what other people are saying about the yeast dying very quickly. It seemed to work at first, however only a few weeks after opening it seems to be completely dead now, even though I had it stored in an airtight container in the fridge. I used it in a few breads and didn’t get the rise I’m used to and so I tested it separately and it didn’t rise at all in warm water and sugar. I may open the second little package to see if it works but I’m very disappointed I bought such a large quantity that’s essentially useless now. I’d advise you don’t waste your time or money on this.

The dry active yeast works well in baking pizza crust. I just wish packaging was a little better like a resealable jar or something because once you open it it’s lose and you have to find a container.

I make a lot of pizza and other breads. I got so tired of buying the little packets. Never had a bad batch with this yeast. The double is more than I need in a year so my daughter splits it with me. So inexpensive for the quality

Member’s Mark instant dry yeast was great to work with. I am an amateur home baker and I like to make bread on the weekends for my family when I have time. This was fool proof with easy to follow steps. Whether it is the first time making break or the 100th. I am going to branch out and try more complicated doughs after the success with the first few loaves.

Members Mark red instant yeast in the perfect addition to my pantry. The small compact package opens easily while the yeast is in brick form it broke down easily to be stored in a separate canister. The bread I made with this yeast came out beautiful. With a great rise and nice crisp crust.

I’ve been really impressed with Member’s Mark Red Instant Dry Yeast. It activates quickly and consistently, and gives me a very reliable rise. I used it on this bread loaf and it turned out wonderfully. It gives the bread a very nice flavor especially if it is left to rise a bit longer. The yeast is fresh, easy to measure, and works great without having to dissolve in water, which saves time in the kitchen. The granules are very similar to any other dry yeast. They mix in well and incorporate with no problems. I feel like the Members Mark Red yeast has the same quality as any of the other off the shelf yeast brands and for those who do a lot of baking, the affordability and quantity of the two pack is a great benefit.

Not good at all! We bought a 2pack and 1 pack was ok (or so i thought), but the other was as solid as a brick. They sent me a replacement and both packs were solid as bricks again. Decided to use the one pack that thought was ok and after the first use it didn't work anymore. Do not waste your time or money with this.

O has to try this yeast, I’ve used other brands and honestly take a long time to rise. This one surprised me not only because of how quickly rises and that it contains less sugar than other brands. We decided to make pizza over the weekend with my family and everyone was delighted with the results.
