I've been really impressed with Member's Mark Red Instant Dry Yeast. It activates quickly and consistently, and gives me a very reliable rise. I used it on this bread loaf and it turned out wonderfully. It gives the bread a very nice flavor especially if it is left to rise a bit longer. The yeast is fresh, easy to measure, and works great without having to dissolve in water, which saves time in the kitchen. The granules are very similar to any other dry yeast. They mix in well and incorporate with no problems. I feel like the Members Mark Red yeast has the same quality as any of the other off the shelf yeast brands and for those who do a lot of baking, the affordability and quantity of the two pack is a great benefit.

I originally planned to use this yeast for baking but didn't get the chance due to time constraints. What I did do is take a few of my meals (Red Beans and Rice and Curry chicken sauce) that I add flour to by adding a small amount of yeast while cooking to experiment with the textures of the sauces. The granules dissolved easily, blended smoothly, and appeared fresh with no clumping. I also like that the packaging is well-sealed and easy to store, and the 1-lb size offers great value for frequent bakers. While I didn't test rise performance in dough, my experience with the texture, freshness, and packaging quality was positive, and I would still use it for baking in the future.

So I received this and first off I was shocked how big the package was . Was expecting little packets but it's 300 servings in the container . 🫙 have not baked with it as of yet but I did google what to make with active dry yeast and someone mentioned making a paste with the yeast and water and putting it on damp hair and let sit for 30 min . Provides essential vitamins for hair and improves shine and manageability. I am impressed so far .

Members Mark red instant yeast in the perfect addition to my pantry. The small compact package opens easily while the yeast is in brick form it broke down easily to be stored in a separate canister. The bread I made with this yeast came out beautiful. With a great rise and nice crisp crust.

O has to try this yeast, I've used other brands and honestly take a long time to rise. This one surprised me not only because of how quickly rises and that it contains less sugar than other brands. We decided to make pizza over the weekend with my family and everyone was delighted with the results.

Red instant dry yeast is really good for baking anything like bread pizzas. I really like the form of this yeast. It's great quality I would recommend. We made some pizza dough and sourdough bread with it.
