To be honest, I cannot tell the difference between regular yeast and red yeast. However, this one works very well and reacts instantly. One bag will last more than a year for all baking goods and sweets.

This yeast just works. I’ve used it for pizza night and homemade rolls, and everything rose like it should without any extra steps. It’s one less thing to stress about in a chaotic kitchen, and that alone makes it worth buying again.

This yeast is great. I can assure you I am no bread maker. I was pretty hesitant for giving this try, but by all odds it was a success. Most anytime I may bread, it’s the consistency of a brick. Not this time! Get the yeast!

I bought this in late 2025, and it wasn’t supposed to expire until late 2027. The first bag was stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container after opening. It stopped proofing after ten months, which I figured might be normal for opened product. I opened the second bag, and got two good bakes out of it before it wouldn’t proof, either. The little jars are expensive, but at least they’re reliable. I am never buying this stuff again.

This yeast works great but slower. I bake all the bread that we eat in my house. I normally use active dry yeast. I was excited to try this instant yeast. I did a trial with the two different kinds following the package instructions. Both worked but the instant yeast was slower to rise.

It was great to make some bagels and loaf it was easy to use I love the way the dough and yeast was easy to use out plan is to make pizza next but the bagels was the best I made plenty and put them in the fridge to keep them good and use them as need it

First off, we really wanted to give this a shot because it is unique. We are familiar with using wet yeast, but dry yeast not so much. This is meant to be more of an additive to what you are already baking, so it is taking us some getting to used to, but I think it will be well worth it once we find the right approach.

Please carry Bellarise again! I do not like this one.
