So I received this and first off I was shocked how big the package was . Was expecting little packets but it’s 300 servings in the container . 🫙 have not baked with it as of yet but I did google what to make with active dry yeast and someone mentioned making a paste with the yeast and water and putting it on damp hair and let sit for 30 min . Provides essential vitamins for hair and improves shine and manageability. I am impressed so far .

I make a lot of pizza and other breads. I got so tired of buying the little packets. Never had a bad batch with this yeast. The double is more than I need in a year so my daughter splits it with me. So inexpensive for the quality

This yeast is very active and almost immediately upon adding warm water, was foaming. It does not lax Mo and was easy to stir into the water. While proofing, my dough rose faster than expected. I used it to make yeast rolls, pizza dough, English muffins and gluten free sandwich bread. The yeast showed consistent rising across the different recipes. It also comes in a foil pouch which makes it easy to store fairly airtight. The flavor is rich and slightly sweet, which I prefer.

Yeast was easy to make. Instructions were clear. I usually have my own recipe for it but this was a good quick way to make one if you are trying to be quick with it. Bread came out really good and fluffy.

The dry active yeast works well in baking pizza crust. I just wish packaging was a little better like a resealable jar or something because once you open it it’s lose and you have to find a container.
