I don't like the fact that I pay for my taxes prior to submitting them. Incase I find a mistake and need to change, which changes what version I need, it's too late as I've already paid for the next upgraded version if I no longer qualify for having to use it. No way of refunding the purchase. Don't like the constant questions of asking to upgrade the tax version either. The positive is, it's easy, and quick. Like how a lot of the information can be imported instead of relying on typing it out. Wish the drivers license information was saved from year to year unless the license has expired.

I didn't want to have intuit use my information but I was asked multiple times if I wanted to and accidentally said yes on the third time of being asked. This is very sneaky. I also was forced to get the more expensive turbo tax because it said that I had sold stocks but I didn't and I wasn't given the option so I had to pay double of what I intended to pay.

This was a typically complicated year with home improvement projects that may or may not qualify for tax breaks, and Turbo Tax led me through the process easily and explained what did or did not qualify. All of this resulted in a tax credit, which increased my federal return!

I have e filed with Turbo Tax desktop for 10+ years. This year I used TT for iPad. Poor to decision to not carryover my previous years info. Greatly extended amt of time required. I had a question and am still awaiting a response a day later. I hope this version (IPad) is improved for next year. The price continues to increase but no value add. Not sure I will use again.

I am a long time user of Turbo Tax and have always filed with ease. This year, the program seems buggy. It kept me in a loop to go back and review 3 parts that were complete. I finally got out of the loop somehow, but it took me an hour and a half of loop madness.

I have used TurboTax for over a decade. it is intuitive & user-friendly, and I can talk to a TurboTax expert if needed, which I have done in years past. One year I used a competitor and it was a complete fail all the way around. I count on TurboTax to give me reliable information and get my taxes done right.

A little frustrated due to not being able to change from Premium to Deluxe. If I had to stay with the Premium, I would have appreciated an explanation as to why this was needed based on my tax needs. Also, need an explanation about why they are asking for a box to be completed (Realize that is vague, but tired at this point).

Turbo Tax does a great job of walking you through your taxes and maximizing your refund. Sometimes, it takes too long to go through some of the guidance screens, especially if you are trying to move back to a place you were previously. There's also too much upsell.

Decent tax software - but the biggest complaint I have is the covert/midleading way you pick the level of service you want. It's quite frankly the biggest scam I've ever seen with tax software. If you decide you want less, you have to start ALL over. This is probably the last year I'm using this software just because of this. Get your act together TurboTax and quit trying to defraud people into paying for things they don't want or need!!!!

I will never use TT again. Every other screen asks me to sign up for a higher service level, again and again and again, and there is so much repetition. I got asked the same thing countless times. If I had any hair left, I would have been pulling it out.
