They do guide you with step-by-step instructions. It can get expensive quick with all the add-on services. They are simply the best in the business. There is no better backed company to provide you with accuracy and protection should a mistake be made. Easy Features and Easy Interface as well as compatibility with both pc and mac platforms. This beats paying a CPA by far. Thanks Intuit.

I was able to file my return successfully, but the platform made the AGI verification process more confusing than it needed to be. Once I entered the correct AGI from my 2024 Form 1040, everything went through. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, but accuracy prompts and guidance could be clearer. Overall, it works, but there's room for improvement in support and instructions.

Overall a good experience with Turbotax across many years. This year like in a few years previously, when I am at the final stage of e-filing, the review finds some error that is irreconcilable in nearly any approach that I try except manually deleting a form. More functionality in terms of understanding the links between some interview questions and how they cascade to forms, worksheets, etc would be helpful. I also want more functionality (ourlines) in terms of generally revisiting without having to walk through a hundred questions,

A good product that really gets you the most refund, however some parts are very repetitive, and the part where they ask for the document number for your drivers license is not well explained (Only the first three digits are needed) and very frustrating. It shouldn't be a troublesome process.

It is easy to use, self- explanatory most of the time. Other times, not sure what to do or what information is being asked or how to decern the information. I use other AI platforms to help me decern what information was needed. I would love to see Turbotax add an AI feature where I can to guide me on what to do based on the information being asked or where I can go find the personal information that is needed.

Mostly very easy to use. There were some minor glitches bringing information over to TurboTax from some financial institutions, but I worked them all out without much trouble. I felt very confident with the accuracy of my TurboTax return. I liked all the questions TurboTax posed to be sure I wasn't missing anything.

We have been using this software for a while and it just seems like it gets more and more confusing. It's the cheapest thing for filing and we don't have a terribly difficult return but there are so many questions that are convoluted. This interface should not require someone to have detailed knowledge of how taxes work, dumb the program down. I unfortunately am going to switch to an in-person service next year. The program takes you round and round at times even after already completing sections. It makes you question if you actually completed required sections.

1) The TurboTax interview process was difficult & led us down an incorrect path regarding vehicle use. We required CPA assistance to complete the filing because our results were inaccurate following TurboTax 2) I REALLY do not appreciate being baited into applying for credit when that was NOT our intention. The presentation of other third party offers in the UI vail or conflate giving away our information to someone else with the tax filing process. This is not ethical & not appreciated. We already paid for your service. Be more clear and transparent about the process & do NOT confuse selling additional or third party offers with filing taxes.

Not nearly as efficient or intuitive as the previous version (2024) not to mention more expensive> should be much simpler especially for a simplified return. Will seriously consider a different product for next filing, This was not an upgrade or an improvement by any stretch of the imagination.

I have used turbotax for over 10 years. this year it was massively disappointing. I filed an extension, and paid the estimated tax ON TIME (by April 15). then when I went to file, the software would NOT let me enter the date for that payment, and so the taxes I filed said I owed a $179 payment penalty (which is incorrect). the software help kept telling me to go to a section to fix this that does not exist. and I spoke to someone from customer service over the phone who said it was just fine, 'just ignore it'. well I don't like the 'just ignore it' solution to something incorrect on my taxes. I filed just to get it done...
