I did my own taxes on Turbo tax and love how they find every potential tax break you can get. It has further information if you dont understand a question or in doubt. I did not use a live chat help, as it was pretty self explanatory. I love that it triple checks for any mistakes and has you fix them.

Using Turbo tax was very helpful to me. Everything was easy and the process was smooth. The only thing I don't like is the fee amount. I never mind paying fees for services, I just believe for a low income earner like myself, the fees where a bit high.

This turbo tax is NOT user friendly at all. I kept getting locked out and couldn't find my return that I had worked on for hours and this was more than once. There has to be an easier way to acces the return as you are working on it. I will never be able to use this again.

This is the first time I have used Turbo Tax and in general it was easy to maneuver through. I had to put in new rental property and a K-1 partnership and the question and answer boxes were helpful. I had to pay federal taxes and will make quarterly payments next year as I did not do that this year. I had a state tax refund. Thank you turbo tax. You saved me a CPA fee with similar outcome this tax season as last year.

My return is a bit more complicated than the free 1040EZ so I've used the cheapest level of Turbo Tax for years. The guided, simplified questions are easier to understand than trying to figure out all the IRS forms on my own. The $89 is worth it in my opinion.

easy to file and saved my info from last year. Was not happy about being forced to pay $178 for premium to file with robinhood. The amount of investment income should be taken into account for the premium option requirement. I also feel like it is kind of excessive to charge a $40 processing fee just to pay for premium out of the return as opposed to by credit card.

Turbo tax does a very good job of handling my taxes. My one criticism is the constant and somewhat sneaky attempts to up sale products. Quit doing that. I understand some folks might want that but simply ask the question at the end and don't keep trying in the middle of my tax preparation. Also you tried to up charge me a freaking $40 fee for paying my subscription out of my refund. That fee was high but what ticked me was you didn't tell me upfront there was a fee you tried to sneak it in after I selected yes to paying out of my refund. So minor irritations for me that I know I have to watch out for but my dad is 89 and uses turbox tax and it was really confusing him. If you didn't have these easily fixed problems I would have said an awesome product. Makes me begin to think I should investigate using the governments free e submission service next year.

I switched to TurboTax this year after having issues with H&R Block's online system when trying to complete my taxes after starting my LLC in 2024. TurboTax was easy to use and very thorough, relieving my fears of doing my taxes incorrectly or forgetting something. Their site helped me find additional deductions for my business that I wouldn't have known about, and even helped me file my business's taxes for another state. I won't be going back to H&R!

Easy to file but deceptive practices on sharing personal data and extra fees that the user isn't made aware of until the final processing page (such as the extra $25 fee for extra 5 days early deposit and the extra $40 fee to have the cost to file deducted from the return). Repeatedly throughout filing, they request permission to share data with third parties that aren't necessary to file your return. This is throughout an already intensive process that confuses/overwhelms with even more information in the hopes you will hit accept.

I like using Turbo Tax because it can enter my information when I upload my documents from my computer. It guides me all the way through the filing process. This year was the easiest yet because I didn't encounter anything they asked me that I couldn't figure out what I needed to put as my answer. I also like the helps that explain options you may not be familiar with.
