Always easy. Always convenient. Can pay for extra help or coverage with Tax Professionals if needed. Easy to use program. And the E-Filing system is just hands down the most user-friendly way to filer your taxes. If you don't have foreign assets or own your own business, I highly recommend using TurboTax for all your Tax Reporting needs.

My tax filing was delayed by over a month due to an error message stating my Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available. I was finally able to file today, 2/28/25, only for the state return to be rejected. Our situation has not changed from last year, so I don't know what the issues was, but we've never had a delay like this from turbo tax.

I find the online-only format extremely unpleasant, and would much prefer to see a return to the CD version in the coming years. Having to use the creepy Windows-10 instead of the stable and secure Ubuntu Linux adds greatly to my displeasure. Whatever the rationale was for the shift, I don't see it as being in any way good.

The worst online service to do your taxes. Ambiguity everywhere in their software (who do they have working in their IT dept?). Prepare to sit down for days to complete the "TurboTax task." Their algorithms are all set up so you need to pay extra for one of their "tax experts." Don't get pulled in...if you're a freak like me and spend endless hours figuring out the chess game that people play, then by all means duke it out. Otherwise, move on. It's not worth the taxes we all eventually have to pay Uncle Sam.

The program has some issues with some of the forms. I entered all my information carefully, over a couple of days. The program and I reviewed all information more than once. I go to the e-filing part, entered personal and bank debit information and all of a sudden had to review some numbers on the 2210 form. I couldn't make it happy and was told I had to file by mail. Now I'm not sure if I have to file both of my state taxes by mail or not. It has been frustrating trying to complete all of my filings this year.

i am not here to be hawked every upgrade you offer, i do not appreciate every other screen trying to sale me something. im about over it to the point to find another program. very very sad that i cant even enjoy using this app for all the sale screens.

I've been using turbo tax for 20 years and find it pretty easy to navigate and file. There is an update Turbo Tax needs to make, however. Public Safety Officers are exempt from the early withdrawal penalty on their retirement funds. Turbo Tax recognizes this but assumes that you have to be over age 50 in order to use this exemption, and you do not. As a result, the proper field to check for the exemption is only visible when the filer's age is 50+. Turbo Tax needs to fix this. There's a way to game the software to get the option, but it's not widely known and a real hassle.

I love turbo tax the whole process was good. They even break down everything if you don't understand and they help get the max if you're willing to sit down and really dedicate your time to doing it by yourself they even have experts help you as well.

When the CSA 1099R from OPM is used for federal retirees, these do not have blocks beyond block 15. So when I e-file with state of Indiana, it gets continually rejected with message, 1099R-025 - If 'StateAbbreviationCd' is IN, the state distribution 'F1099RStateTaxGrp/StateDistributionAmt' must be greater than state tax 'F1099RStateTaxGrp. So this time your system did a popup, for me to add the distribution amounts into block 16. Hopefully, my Indiana return will get accepted this time, after six rejects. If this does not work, I will print and mail the forms, which defeats my desire to do electronically. My Federal return has no problem being accepted, with block 16 missing. Therefore, this has been very time consuming and frustrating

Turbo tax has been extremely easy to use. Especially for younger users like me. It can be difficult to miss or even not understand where you need fill in, in order for it to be correct. Turbo Tax makes it smooth and easy to understand. Very satisfied per usual!!!!
