They tell you its free in the adds, but only for first time filers. They then say its only $99 for premium. but then it cost more to file state, then if you use a card there's a fee and so on. They nickle and dime you every step of the way instead of just being upfront about the cost.

You get a 3 star this year. I only have a W2 and you keep asking to upgrade or do another service which I don't need. You also say I am not efile eligible for either Federal or State this year and I know I efiled my Federal taxes last year. Your system online is crap compared to the DOWNLOAD version. I can't see updates online at the top like the DOWNLOAD version. Bring back the download version.

This is the second year I have filed my taxes via TurboTax, and the interface is so user-friendly that I forgot I was nervous about doing this on my own. The step-by-step process is easy to follow, and it makes you feel like a subject-matter expert. It will flag errors, and it will flag things that you might've missed. Highly recommend.

This is the first year I worked as a contractor, so I was kind of afraid of how difficult it would be to file through TurboTax and was a much as a breeze if I just snapped a photo of a w-2! They are accurate with numbers and really do their best to get you a maximum refund. This works best for me and I much prefer this app than being in person. The support and help features throughout the filing process was also convenient!

I did not want the quick refund and pay the $35.00 fee I would rather of waited for the IRS to deposit my refund. There was not an option to not use your bank, even though it states that there is. There was no option to agree or not agree to the $35.00 fee. So to let you know I do not agree, I can wait the 28+ days to receive my refund.

I've been using turbo tax for 15 years and the tool gets less and less advanced every year, hiding full control over your own tax filings behind difficult to find UI sections, "interview" conversations, unhelpful AI suggestions, or completely removing options from the experience. This year was particularly bad with aggressive and borderline deceptive "data sharing" requests masquerading as official filing authorization that will likely catch quick a few people in their data scraping net. This is the last year I will use this product.

Easy, fast and accurate, I don't have a complex tax situation like some people do. I've used an accountant in the past when there were confusing issues. Turbo Tax is just like that except no $250 fee. I get my returns e-filed and direct deposited and I have no worries about the results.

I have had to to change my email address because in 2023 2024. Turbo Tax allowede fraudlent returns from my original account. These were Hispanic returns and I notified Turbo Tthat ax and NOTHING was done. I did not want to use Turbo Tax again, but i feel changing my username and password will help the situation. This situation caused much stress and anxiety as Turbo Tax justifies the ignored the fraud. If anything I should get a free service as my account was hacked and TT and Intuit did nothing but let my identity flourish in the Hackers world of false filings.

This new online version had issues with finding my 2024 return to get the needed adjusted gross income (AGI) to e-file information. I've used my current Windows 10 computer for the past 8 or so years to file returns. Also, the final email you sent RETURN STATUS seems to be corrupted. If I try to open it, it crashes my Outlook Email application.
