Super simple, easy to navigate, easy to understand and TurboTax is convenient. When I started to file my taxes online, I entered my information on multiple E-filing platforms (out of curiosity) and my return with TurboTax exceeded all of the other platforms. Haven’t filed anywhere else since!

Everything was easy to use...however I don't mind paying a fee but i think its false advertisement to say you can file for free and then be charged $89.00 plus a $40.00 processing fee just to file my taxes through this company. This should be clarified at the very beginning instead of FREE filing

TurboTax has made doing my taxes very easy - from having multiple jobs across different states and being a student at the same time to working full time in just one state, TurboTax helped me through each different situation to have a seamless process of doing my taxes.

I love the fact that Turbo Tax helps you find every deduction possible. What I do not like is that the price goes up so quick. The free or low price option only allows the lower income and non working class to benefit from it. For those of us that actually work hard for a living or has less free time on our hands to quickly file our taxes, it does not benefit us. I hate that we don't have the option to file our taxes at a low price as well.

TurboTax makes it easy to do taxes on your own. It offers help if needed with either the internet search answers or for an extra fee it'll give access to speak directly to a tax expert. However, TurboTax helps you step by step, so like myself, you may not need to pay the extra fee. Of course, there is a processing fee at the end before taxes are e-filed for using the site. The fee amount is based on the type of taxes you file and its worth it. The fee is much cheaper than in person tax professionals, where they charge double and they are just typing in the same information that you, yourself, would be.

Downloading was a nightmare. We spent 3.5 hours on thew phone with one of your agents to accomplish it. Also, without the CD, this year my previous info was not picked up by your program so I had to reenter a lot of stuff. I've used Turbo tax for years and this was the worst year ever

Other first world countries just send their citizens their tax document since the government HAS THE INFORMATION NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE FORMS. They just double check it and consent or dispute the amount. Intuit and H&R Block lobbying congress to keep this process complicated and unintuitive to line these corporations pockets is stupid, greedy and frankly unamerican. If I had 3 wishes I would use all 3 to delete this company.

If I didn't have a decade of tax returns done through TT, I'd leave. Gets the job done, but there are ads and upsells are at every single turn. This whole 'service' feels like a scam to take advantage of people trying to navigate a complicated tax system. I thought that deducting the cost of TurboTax out of my return would be the easiest option, but when I got to the next screen, it said there would be a $40 FEE if I chose to do that! But paying with a credit card had no fee... are you kidding me? That is so slimy. You clearly don't have customers' best interest in mind, just making a buck. My state doesn't require filing State Income Tax, which TT excitedly said "good news, you don't need to file with your state!" Then a few screens later it said "you haven't started your state return - there could be discounts for you there." Yet another opportunity for you to try and upsell me. I see through your games, and they're gross. You're not empowering customers, you're taking advantage of them. I don't use TurboTax because I want to, I use it because I feel like I have to.

Overall I like Turbo Tax,, but the software was changed and a week ago I could not get into my return to correct a mistake. After calling CS (& sharing screen) and being told that they would report this glitch, today I was able to access and fix my return. Note: calculated tax due by TT differs with IRS publication.
