Accuracy overall seemed to be correct but Form 7206 was completed incorrectly by the software, plus it doesn't seem to be required. The related deduction was correct on Schedule 1. The Form was not deleted when I tried to do so through Tools. I noted no resolution of the issue in Turbo Tax Support, despite many questions and comments by users.

Supposed to be free and it isn't... keep getting "added" benefits with more fees and no online support as advertised in multiple platforms. I've done taxes with turbotax in different years and it's never been this expensive/complicated. Credit where credit is due... the platform seems easy to navigate thru and the FAQs are somewhat helpful.

Instructions prior to starting would be helpful for moving from a dvd product to online -- especially for updating from the previous year. I'd already entered info by hand. Info said you can download, but lose all your work. I did not re-enter all of my info. I don't like not having access to the worksheets and schedules easily during data input. And you cannot simply change a field on a form during the review process. A simple missed state id on a 1099b kept me from completing the review. I had to delete 1099s several times, leave parts of the form blank before the forms were auto corrected with the right state. I had several 1099 forms, but couldn't identity which form needed adjustment. Stating Schwab 1099b, doesn't identity anything when you have 5 Schwab 1099b forms to work with.

We have done our taxes through TurboTax for almost a decade now and it has become second nature. Even when our financial picture changes, this software can help us handle it the right way. The products are nicely tiered so you only pay for the service you actually need. TurboTax also generates any supplemental forms needed for the IRS based on the data you submit, which takes the guesswork out of things. WAY cheaper than an accountant! The only improvement I can think of would be tracking/reporting crypto assets.

I am retired mechanical engineer and used the premium package to complete both fed and state tax forms. I submitted both state and federal tax returns electronically. Great program and almost user friendly! Would recommend that each and every entry during interview process should always contain an explanation to help save time. Program should not be so pricey with all the free tax programs available, especially with IRS and States coming out with their own programs online.

Turbo Tax software wanted to change me with a penalty for not taking an RMD for a corporate pension. NO RMD is required. I finally cleared the problem by deleting the the offending 1099-R reentering; I could not clear the problem by editing the 1099-R. When e-filing it indicated my social security number did not match what I had previously entered which was not the case.

I have used Turbo Tax since it came out on disk format. Tried going to a tax expert, cost me more money and they didnt do anything different than I had done using Turbo Tax, in fact they took longer too. I will never go back. Love the online sign in, ease of entering data, and electronic connection.

Have used for around 10 years with no issues but the past three years there have been glitches and loops. last year two loops could not be resolved and I had to file paper return which took 6 months to receive refund. Please resolve these issues asap to make your product great again.

I have been using TurboTax for years and it gets easier and better each year. It breaks down in detail every section of the forms so Even the least experienced perdón could understand. If they have trouble they have live support You cant go wrong here
