We have been using TurboTax for a couple of years, and it has always been easy. It allows us to file our taxes accurately and on time. We like that we can type in our basic W-2 information, and it auto-populates; all we need to do is verify and validate if the right amounts are there. We also like that it has identity theft protection and an E-file for both federal and state filing.

Very smooth but I;d like to have a way to adjust the "details" about each tax form. I mean I understand not many people wanna do it but I do need to adjust a tax form issuer's city and there is no way I can do it. If I can review the forms in the end and correct as I needed that would be good. One big plus is the human help for the AGI... It was different between my 1040 or tax return v.s the transcript from IRS! I have no way to figure this out without the human agent's help

Free/low-cost versions of the product non-existent; many hidden fees. Functionalities like document scan do not work properly, and resulting errors in automatic data input are not fixable through the product and requires filing by mail. Overall, unsatisfied.

I had 2 questions related to deductions. The first representative that helped me was very knowledgeable and provided the information I needed quickly. The second representative did not understand the calculation that the TurboTax software was running and was not helpful.

I have used TurboTax for years and have always liked it. I don't like the bully tactics of having to upgrade to the highest category for such a simple return. I also don't like being bullied into the consent statement. You cant file without it which voids the consent anyway. Makes no sense

I had a tax preparer do my taxes for the last 5 or so years and he charged me a fortune. I just slow entered all my info over a couple days and Turbo Tax made everything so easy to understand. This is such an excellent program, and I will be using it for years to come.

I would have rated the program higher because basically it does a fine job of leading preparers through the process. However, there are too many advertisements for additional services throughout the process. As a CPA myself, I can maneuver the screens without too much trouble, but my elderly father finds it very confusing to be continually asked if he wants to upgrade his services DURING the tax preparation process. There must be a way you can stop the advertisements!!!

I've been using Turbo Tax for so long that I've lost track. I have never had an issue and the software is designed well with follow-up questions to assure you're on the right path and occasional repeat of previous questions and answers just to be sure no typos or misinterpretations...redundancy is not always a bad thing! I see no reason to go with any other tax prep software. It works well for me and my small businesses.

I switched from another tax software company to Turbo Tax. The importing of various 1099's and W-2s was so simple and easy to use. One W-2 was imported(larger company) one I took a snapshot of(small family company), all of these steps were very easy. So glad I switched, wish I had done it sooner!!

I can't tell you how easy it is to prepare your taxes. It's truly informative step by step. and if you know what you are doing and where to place the required information you can skip the questions and enter it yourself. the software is easy to navigate and simple. I have been filing with turbotax for years now. love it.
