In past years, I have had no problem with TurboTax! This year, went the same route and found that Turbo Tax no longer works with Windows 10; basically, after opening same, I was ripped off for $50.00. Was informed that I could use the free program!!! Many small issues but, the biggest ones were extremely fustrating: should tell you about the PIN requirement prior to beginning the process (so that it could be in hand); not working with slower speed internet services (to download); changing the informational formate from past years to today's program which left an old a scratching hio head; Wouldn't reccommend this if you are over 65 years of age...addressed other program issues with TurboTax that I hope you do not encounter...I almost forgot; this entire system is set up using a working cell phone; nextto impossible withy a hom landline.

In my many years of using Turbo Tax this was the first time it did no go smooth and the first time I actually had to call in. While the person answering my questions seemed very knowledgeable he seemed surprised at the problems I was having. It did appear that this product was not ready when it was published. Too many things to list that did not go smooth. Last year went great and I was expecting a much simpler process, that I did not get. What should have taken me 15 minutes. Took multiple sessions and over and hour. Pretty disappointed.

I have used TT a number of years but always looking for cheapest way to get the job done. I opted for the free or basic to start and upgraded to premium $99 with caution it would help me with business expenses. I try to not fall for all the upgrades in the program. It was worth the upgrade and extra money. I used the electronic filing for both my state and fed and paid $148. Pricey but honestly worth it and cheaper than paying a CPA to do it.

Easy, fast and accurate, I don't have a complex tax situation like some people do. I've used an accountant in the past when there were confusing issues. Turbo Tax is just like that except no $250 fee. I get my returns e-filed and direct deposited and I have no worries about the results.

Two Issues - Previous Turbo Tax carried forward the Charities that I donated to, This version did not, caused much more input, I donate to the same charities every year. Second the check out process was tedious. I received a message that my 2024 federal return was not accepted, Concerning since I have E-mails from TURBO Tax to the contrary

This year's interface was confusing and nonintuitive compared to years past. I've always used Turbotax but was very disappointed this year. I won't be using them next year and I sincerely hope there aren't any errors on my taxes because of it. Do no recommend.

If I could give it I zero I would. Your payment screen is so confusing I about wiped my return and went to a different site. Forced upgrade at $100 because I was on unemployment, $40 dollars extra for state refund, Oh don't forget to push the upgrade to max 4000 different times through the process. Then finally, when you reach the end the refund, the return selections!!!! Free options, like mail and normal direct deposit are literally hidden behind other fees like $40 to use your refund, add $35 for direct deposit within 5 days, or a free checking account with your ghost karma internet bank. The entire process has made me feel like Im on a scammy 1990s site with pop up ads and a corporate shill slime ball shoehorning every nickel and dime feature possible into this "product" I honestly feel sad and a little bit disgusted now. I wish you people would do better.

The only thing I dont like about TurboTax is that they tend to add extra fees that look like they are required but they are not. Example at the refund state there are initially 2 options presented either a free "Chime" debit card or a $40 upcharge for the expedited federal filing to your existing bank account. Click no and you have the standard refund options that have always been there. Also if you pick the wrong product at the onset there is no way to downgrade the product to the one that will fit your needs. but they have been sued in the past for this practice. It is not that much of an issue for me as of this year I had some left over procedural junk from last year and closing my business. However if they do that next year when all I have is standard 1040 with standard deductions. But that is for next year to worry about.

TurboTax is wildly overpriced and intentionally confusing especially for low income filers with simple returns I filed my own taxes with no professional help no complex income no multiple businesses yet was charged 192+ with fees only revealed at the very end the platform constantly interrupts with upsells

This year my Taxes were rejected twice. The first error was my fault. I did not look at the correct year for my AGI. After I corrected it was rejected again stating I did not correct my AGI. This is my third time submitting my taxes. I have not had this much issue submitting my taxes in previous years.
