There is service degradation from last year. I work in software development and QA, and something has been lost from year-to-year with TurboTax. Incorrect amounts (discrepancy between 1040 and what displays on the screen for last year's taxes), changes not saved even when using auto save, some non-logical loops back to sections that have already been reviewed and confirmed by the taxpayer. This is part of the reason it took me twice as long this year than last year. May have to check out CashApp Taxes (free for any income level) next year.

I've been using Turbo Tax for years, and it gets easier each year. I prefer to sit at home and enter all my tax forms then have to go to a place and sit and wait and have to pay right then and there. I appreciate the step-by-step instructions and the explanations of why my refund is the amount that it is. Thank you for making taxes easier.

I hate it, and I do not appreciate intuit making me pay for this I didn’t even make any money back. This is false advertisement. This will be my last time doing my taxes with TurboTax. Your team sucks and should be ashamed making poor citizens pay to do their taxes free on your platform

The filing was quick and easy, the process was nice. The thing I feel could be improved is the processing fee when utilizing my refund to pay the other fees for use of service. $40.00 is a lot, I would have hoped that at the very most it would be $10.00

Turbo Tax is very easy to use, get answers to any questions you may having while working on the forms, easy to double check for errors with clear explanations on why and how to correct them, and most of all, very easy and convenient options to pay, arrange for receiving refunds, and to file your taxes.

Have used TurboTax for years and always preferred this service. I may be unaware and call me old school, but I do wish there was a way to preview your tax forms while preparing your returns. Not a huge fan of the question answer format but I do understand why.

I completed my 2024 return in just over 1 hour this year. Turbo Tax is the bomb! TT retained my historical info which is a huge time saver. Easy and secure interfacing with my financial institutions online enabled me to complete my return myself for the lowest possible cost.

Turbo Tax is fast and easy to use. The only issue was that I wasn't able to review my tax returns; they never downloaded in the window. Also be careful about extra fees and add-ons, like getting your refund early and a fee for paying for Turbo Tax using your refund. Otherwise, I find this tool quite helpful.

Having to look back for information often is ridiculous when paying over $300 for the guidance. As an example, after the state check, I was informed that I needed a description of additional income, but didn’t provide a list of possible sources for that income, when it was clear when I went back to my federal return. I also found myself searching elsewhere for guidance on various topics because TurboTax didn’t do anything more than give me a generic link to information from the IRS. Due to all of this, what TurboTax said would take 54 minutes took over 5 hours. My situation isn’t basic, but it’s also not all that complex if I didn’t have to go searching for guidance. I’ll probably just go pay someone locally to do my taxes next year to save time and ensure the money goes to someone who actually helps me.

Free/low-cost versions of the product non-existent; many hidden fees. Functionalities like document scan do not work properly, and resulting errors in automatic data input are not fixable through the product and requires filing by mail. Overall, unsatisfied.
