I have used Turbo Tax for years and am overall happy with how user-friendly it is. HOWEVER, I feel like it gets a bit dishonest/sneaky towards the end when you're about to file. They try to get you to use your refund to pay for turbo tax, but want to charge you $40 to do so AND it uses a 3rd party bank which will collect your info. The webpage layout makes you think that's the only option, unless you're really paying attention (which you should be) and click "alternate methods". The same happens when you select refund route- you have to dig to find the standard free bank deposit. This should be the default option. They want you to opt into getting it early (again through 3rd party) and paying extra. It's all just distasteful from a company who is supposed to be helping you be honest/financially aware. Additionally, you have to continue to opt out of "share my data" with 3rd parties throughout the process.

For the most part it flowed relatively easy. Tax filing sucks no matter how you look at it. If I had one complaint it would be that it asks for previous years information way too much for having imported previous years return and information. Just find it and fill it in where necessary, it would save time and less panic on the filers part.

Every Year I use Turbotax to file my taxes and Turbotax always hep me get the best transaction as possible. They have great indiduals tp help me while filing. It feels good to be able to file my own taxes with the safetgy of my own home. I never use anything else bu Turbotax's. Thank you for all your help and I will continue to use Turbotax every year. I was having some difficulties and needed clarification on write offs and income information. The person who called me was awesome, positive, interactive and was able to explain the process and offer suggestions to get the information I needed to successfully file my returns. My experience today was wonderful! my expert was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was very, very patient with my questions and refilling my return. If all your experts are like her, we will continue to use Turbo tax each year. She deserves a great recognition for her service!!

Was a little intimidated at first but Turbo Tax made the process very easy. I love how thorough it is and it checks every thing to make sure you don't miss anything. I'm also glad it's compatible with my computer system and that they have an option for you to request extra support if you need it.

I did enjoy the part that if I have a question about something there is a pop up that'll explain something more in depth! There were moments I wasn't too confident but I just did a little more research to make sure that I was entering everything correctly. I did like how it would tell me the type of forms that I did need in order to fill things out.

For someone who has never filed taxes before (and just got my first VantageScore), I was as scared as I can be starting my taxes. But after uploading everything and answering to the best of my knowledge, I am proud to say that I filed my taxes for the first time with accuracy. The compatibility with PDFs and PNGs helped a ton too, so many features!

Lots of minor problems in the user interface (prefill bugs, etc). Calculations for things which should pre-exist (like things for calculating state related details for partial residency) which are conveniences that I'm absolutely paying for don't exist forcing me to do my own calculation. I also don't know in what world it makes sense when I go back to the beginning that I need to re-add my spouse after I spent all the time adding her the first time. There is a lot you folks could do to improve the user experience without making the interface so awful.

I have used turbo tax the last 2 years with great success. I really like it & will continue to use it. I was not able to pull in my 2024 Tax information when i first logged in. I also tried to upload my 2024 tax return with no success. I could not find my previous tax return on the website. Not a huge deal, as I had one saved.
