We have used TurboTax for the last 12 years and it has always been fairly quick and easy. The program is easy to walk through and there are always helpful tips and experts available when there are questions. We have enjoyed utilizing TurboTax and will continue to do so!

Overall, TurboTax is simple enough for the average person's taxes. My only suggestion for improvement (and gripe!) involves the payment process: PLEASE display the applicable sales tax BEFORE the final payment confirmation screen. It's confusing to see the price jump (e.g., by $13 on a $200 fee) at the last second, even though the tax is mandatory. Transparency here would be appreciated.

Generally good. Difficult to get past the initial upsell (Doesn't give an obvious exit button on the initial entry screen). Once you are in the flow, it is not a problem. It is also tricky to get back to where you jumped out if you need to go back and check something. Sometimes you have to push through a number of previous steps to get to the point you really were. I did have one place where it froze up, requiring a bit of a redo. Finally, for some reason, it created new lines for 2024 for two of my businesses, so I had one line for 2023 and one for 2024 for each. All in all, these are minor annoyances. The program does what it does quite well.

I've used Turbotax for years and it has been so terrific each year. I find the helpful tips are easier for me to digest and understand. It has really helped me get the most out of my tax return. As I've gotten older my tax filing has gotten more complex, but Turbotax has remained super easy to navigate and understand exactly what I need to do.Couldn't recommend it enough!

I have been using turbo tax for 8 or 9 years and I have never had a single issue! I cross reference other tax sights to ensure I'm getting the most out of my refund and I always am. It's the cheapest. I LOVE that you can get an advance on your refund if you bank with credit karma. The website is easy. They walk you through everything and you have the option to get assistance as well if you need it.

I feel like there were changes made to the process that had me losing my place and circling back to complete sections that I knew that I needed to complete but never presented itself in the process. The process did not feel as orderly as it has in the past.

This is my first time filing taxes, and I found TurboTax incredibly easy to use. The step-by-step guidance made everything clear, and I appreciated how it walked me through entering my W-2 and other important forms. The process felt smooth, and I especially liked the suggestions for deductions and credits. It saved me a lot of time and gave me confidence that my taxes are filed correctly. I would definitely recommend TurboTax to anyone filing taxes for the first time!

Works okay, but repeated interruptions to attempt to upsell are annoying, and cloying tone of the UI gets on my nerves. Further: this ought to be a free service of the government, but blood-sucking leech companies like Intuit spend millions to lobby against that.

very easy to use. Would have given this application a 5-star rating, HOWEVER, the program neglected to tel me that filing state tax in PA was not required as I am living off my retirement income only. I used this tool to fil in the PA State, and end result was no need to file, yet Turbo tax wanted me to pay to file anyway. Not a good way to run a business Turbo Tax

My TurboTax experience was frustrating this year. I’ve used TurboTax for years and have never had such a bad experience! It wouldn’t load my W-2s which I find unbelievable since I work for one of the largest financial institutions in the United States. It also duplicated some of my 1099-DIV and 1099-INT forms. It loaded some of them and then asked me to update them again when reviewing/confirming accuracy. I caught the issue when reviewing the forms before filing. If the issue wasn’t caught, I would have paid appropriately $250 more in taxes and my estimated taxes would have been approximately $200 more this year.
