Terrible experience. While it was fast. I was fully prepared and ready to enter my details, but had to wait on the site trying to steal every nickel they can by offering useless promotions on every single page. Also, can't help but notice the attempts to send more advertisements and more products. WHY AM I BEING CHARGED MONEY TO SIT THROUGH YOUR COMMERCIALS.

Well, after you finish your taxes and about to file, they lock you on a page to share your data and there is not way to press next unless you accept them. They word it like "We need couple more things from you" and lock you there. Once you consent, there is also no option to remove your consent. This is scummy especially when I am paying turbotax > $200 for a service that is easily available elsewhere. This is the last year I file with turbotax. This is a new low and unprofessional. For those who reach that page, you can just press on the left screen file to skip that section, this will allow you to file without consenting to sharing your data. I realized that a bit too late.

My return was not accepted initially. My wife's PIN was omitted. The instructions to fix the problem were non-existent, really poor guidance. Your effort to simplify has gone too far. I have been using TT for many years, never again, your product is no longer really useful or intuitive.

Product is great. Log in awful. Says send text to phone for 2 step authentication. Don't get text. Option 2 is call phone with the number, no call. Try the long way. Enter data over and over and keep getting "problem on our end, we're on it!" Nope. Not on it. After an hour of trying, I finally got in to complete and file my return.

I have been using turbo tax ever since I was old enough to file taxes. Now that I am HOH and a self employed business owner Turbo Tax does an amazing job with getting me the very highest refund possible. Most people I know dread tax season.....I welcome it thanks to turbo tax.

Service has become very annoying and expensive. They are constantly trying to upsell while completing the return and constantly sending me email throughout the year about needing a current credit card to charge me for additional services that I NEVER signed up for. This will probably be the last year I use them.

I hate how they upcharge you in the middle of preparing taxes. They make it feel like you're doing everything right and then you have some interest or something and they won't file your taxes properly unless you pay them another $50 on top of the $50 you're already paying. It's such a sucker punch every year.

Great interface good software and easy to use. However, at every turn there is a the turbo tax shake down. I thought I was clicking on direct deposit to get my return 5 days early. They charged me $25 and didn't indicate that until I had already gotten to nearly the end. I wish I could go somewhere else to have my taxes done. I'll be sure to look around next year.

Used Turbo Tax online for the first time. Had been downloading and running it from my PC. Overall very easy to use. They provided a wide range of financial institutions to import data from. Only issues: I would like it to be easier to navigate between form questions and the actual forms. A bit confusing filling out 1099-B for non-covered shares because turbo tax had a round about way to enter the cost basis for non-covered shares.

I've used TurboTax upwards of 15 years and have always found you all helpful, reasonably priced and simple. This year yields updated apps & fun new age things that I don't normally mind too much yet this time, I had to return to finish after collecting additional info and somehow the program/software (not my phone system) had an update in the Google store to download I had only the app the day before. I agreed to the update because I would appreciate the must efficient processing however I found it strange and unsettling. Lastly, I had the most difficult time finding the area I was supposed to return to and add information. While I visually enjoy the design, layout & simplicity of the app, I think the navigation of section sucks in an unpleasant way. I became so frustrated that I almost didn't file at all... Resulting in me filing but adding this thorough review as well. I should be heard on this. I had to Google how to get back to the section I was in and even then, I'm not 100% convinced that I did that part properly but read that if I didn't, I'll be alerted to add the requested doc. Navigation to the paused/unfinished area of the return needs to be much simpler. I appreciate your help in filing my taxes and I even recommended that my child use your service. I also acknowledge that I have the option to pay more for one on one assistance and such but I've learned in the past that this upcharge isn't worth it for me and so I didn't. Thank you and be well!
