For someone who has never filed taxes before (and just got my first VantageScore), I was as scared as I can be starting my taxes. But after uploading everything and answering to the best of my knowledge, I am proud to say that I filed my taxes for the first time with accuracy. The compatibility with PDFs and PNGs helped a ton too, so many features!

TurboTax Online is a really easy platform to file your taxes. Not only does it simplify everything by giving you the ability to upload and/or take a picture of your forms, it provides suggestions and helps walk you through everything you need to file your taxes.

It was so easy to report all my income and expenses on a new side job I started this year! Turbo helped me get every dollar I could for the hard work I put in all year! They really did get me the biggest refund I could get with 100% accuracy. I've been with Turbo for at least 5 years now, I've got all my family filing with Turbo and we will not switch! Plus the refund advance loan helps so much!

You've made it harder every year to just get through the tax paying process with more and more buttons, bad automation, and slimy upsale tactics. Especially the end where it keeps pushing all these third parties like gift cards and hiding the direct deposit option to scrape more money out of the return. I had to fight the automation for nearly 10 minutes to get it to stop trying to duplicate my one 1099NEC and doubling my income. Since the interface has done away with all the ease of use from previous years with clutter and bait/switch activity, I'm leaning toward going with another tax service next year.

Everything was smooth until I reviewed the final document. I noticed that My name was missing my middle initial, and per instructions I went back to "My Info" to edit my response and correct to add middle initial. When I did that, the program really started acting up, erased my spouse info, treated my dependents like they were not co-living and treated me as a whole new person. That was complete waste of my time.

I am furious with this service. First I got charged $150 for a pretty simple return with only 2 W-2s. The system asked you to enter a bunch of extra information to make it look like a complex return. However, that information is not used because the standard deduction is almost always the better way to go. Secondly, they added an extra fee to use your own account instead of a credit karma checking account. $35 to have the return put into my own checking. They hid this by saying it was an "early" refund. I did not NEED or WANT an "early" refund, but this was the only option if I did not use a credit karma checking account. CROOKS!! This will be the LAST time I file with turbo tax and I have been a faithful customer for a very long time!

At first I had issues since I had to Download Turbo Tax because I have windows 10 on my PC. It was kind of challenging since I was use to the old format on the disk copy, but was able to figure it out. Just wish Turbo Tax disk will be available for people who still havE windows 10 and are happy with 10 and don't want to spend money they don't have to in order to buy a new PC

TurboTax should seriously consider returning to its roots. It’s not only just become “another tax service”, but the constant prompts to try and upsell the service, is ridiculous and gets to be infuriating after about the 5th time being asked to upgrade to “Maxx”. Filing taxes is stressful enough without having TurboTax acting like that pest of a salesman that won’t take NO for an answer! This will, without a doubt, be the year I call it quits and file for divorce from the nagging, greedy, pushy Mrs. TurboTax. But don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll get your alimony aka fees for direct deposit/taking fees from my refund/secretly upgrading me to a service I 100% DON’T need! If 1/2 star ratings were possible, that’s what I’d give them.

I almost decided not to use the software because there were so many places I had to opt out of receiving marketing and give permission to share my data for marketing purposes. People are just getting tired of all this digital co=opting of personal data for the purpose of making profit. I am one of hose people. Personal privacy is under attack and I am sick of it!!!!

they asked me so many times to upgrade to the ultra pro deluxe max star version of the product. i hope they regulate you out of existence forever and ever like a fairy tale. SO many terrible dark pattern designs are in this product intended to make you think you need to spend money when you don't. Even the rating program is busted and making me mistype every time the stupid ai-generated review topics feature activates.
