The past two years I've done my taxes I've gotten the most taxes taken out of my income and I still have to pay a high amount for how much I can afford. I know I'm not doing my taxes on my normal income wrong, but I still don't understand why I'm paying so much. I am following the guides and filling in the boxes, but I cant seem to get a positive outcome for myself.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and have always been satisfied with it, until this year. I had problems with the software - I was unable to edit the data. The AI assist was completely useless. The screens on the sale of a house were poorly designed and very difficult to follow. Even the review of the data was difficult. This "new" version of turbo tax was unacceptable, and I'll not be using it again.

Did not follow the same as last year. Kind of threw me off. Was faster except for one of my banks did not automatically download. Everything seemed just too easy. Because of that, I was overly cautious. Next year should be a breeze. Thank you for such a great product.

The very first page displayed does not immediately indicate the proper filing path for active duty military who need to submit their taxes for free. Customer service is incapable of assisting with the proper method to file taxes for service members. After a 30 minute hold, i was disconnected. If I was filing my taxes for the first time on turbo tax and unaware of what right should look like, i would have been charged 209$. 209$ more than what I am required to pay. Obviously, this review doesn't matter. The monetization of this platform is intentional. I can only hope that turbotax will be forced to pay another settlement in the realms of over a hundred million dollars.

So expensive and unclear wording, the "help" tabe is bare bones information. There is no REAL help unless you pay for premium. I also noticed premium is advertised as getting you the "max return". Isn't that what the standard process is suppose to do for you, to the extent it is programmed? Because on every intermission screen it will usually display words similar to "calculating to get you the best refund". Not very consistent in the wording there.

It took longer than expected! However, almost all questions could be answered using help tab or chat. However, I do believe fees are a bit pricey especially when not having to use Turbo Tax Max, or any live assistant. You're basically doing all the work & simply using Turbo Tax paper. However, getting questions answered & being able to click & have the meaning of what's being asked from you explained is a bonus. However, a few things are not explained too well. But overall, great meanings & explanations of what something means & where to find rhe info requested is awesome. However, I would love for more understanding to some of the explanations & questions.

While Turbo Tax made it easy to file, I don't like the fact that they tell you it costs $99 to file and then on the next page after you agree to the charges, they tack on another $40 to e-file the return - it's sneaky and wrong. Just tell me the one fee to prepare and file, it's not like I can print the document out myself and file, or maybe I could, it certainly wasn't clear, so I had to pay $100 to prepare and $40 to file - again sneaky! They should be transparent on their pricing up front, but they're not, they're sneaky and focused on the upsell. I bet I could find a competent preparer for the relatively the same amount of money.

I've been using TurboTax for years now - I have multiple tax forms that I have to file and its very simple and easy to use. They even let you upload your tax forms so you don't have to worry about mistyping information. I'd definitely recommend TurboTax to anyone

I know I can pay someone to do it but I like to see, learn and be in charge of my business. Using Turbo Tax takes away the anxiety of being a business owner with ADHD. I have been using them for years and have nary an issue. Its been a few years now as a single owner LLC. I just feel confident. They won't let you miss something and easy your mind with the constant double checking. Honestly, this is so overwhelming, I might've quit the first year.
