I've used TurboTax ever since my very first return filed. Through years of various filing situations like running a one-man shop business, having kids, and owning a home, it has prompted me all along the way. I have a decent background with tax filings, but I continue to use TurboTax for the ease of the process. They make it an enjoyable experience while adding layers of complexity seem simple. Grateful for their services through the years. Highly recommend it to those wanting a simple and cheaper option vs. using an accountant.

1099-MISC for Oil & Gas Royalties ownership field presented a problem for which I couldn't get adequate support or direction. My 0.000618% was unacceptable due to it not fitting Turbo's programming requirements. However it worked on one royalty fine and I ultimately entered zero on the other... go figure. It still allowed me to submit and file. This lame issue also forced me to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier. Used Turbo Tax for years... they're taking the fun out of doing taxes.

This year my Taxes were rejected twice. The first error was my fault. I did not look at the correct year for my AGI. After I corrected it was rejected again stating I did not correct my AGI. This is my third time submitting my taxes. I have not had this much issue submitting my taxes in previous years.

I like how TurboTax is easy to use as in being user friendly and lihking my W-2, Vanguard, Fidelity etc. However, I think for somoene with low income and on disability, the product should be less than $99 especially with all your advertisements about "free" filing.

You've made it harder every year to just get through the tax paying process with more and more buttons, bad automation, and slimy upsale tactics. Especially the end where it keeps pushing all these third parties like gift cards and hiding the direct deposit option to scrape more money out of the return. I had to fight the automation for nearly 10 minutes to get it to stop trying to duplicate my one 1099NEC and doubling my income. Since the interface has done away with all the ease of use from previous years with clutter and bait/switch activity, I'm leaning toward going with another tax service next year.

My experience was terrible. After over 30 years of using TurboTax and being very satisfied, this year was the worst. First, software required Win 11 and my computer didn't support. Went with online version thinking the interface would be the same. It was not and I found it difficult to do most tasks. Then when I tried to enter retirement income I learned that the product was incomplete and had to wait. Logging into the online version was an ordeal. I am concerned about the accuracy but time will tell. Also struggled with HELP results.

Instead of presenting the user with the different tiers of TurboTax products, Intuit has chosen to show the highest tier with a big "Start for free" button. In order to select a different tier, the user has to see and click the small "See other TurboTax products" link buried in the info about the Expert Assist tier. The only way to get out of that tier is to "clear and start over." Really fantastic. For the fourth time, no I do not want MAX. You can ask me once, but that's it. Any more and it is annoying. I see the options to upgrade spread throughout the edges of the user interface. I do not need three pop-ups between steps asking me to upgrade to MAX. Intuit, try using this comment form sometime. It is awful as the page keeps moving your cursor to select and deselect various review topics based on the comment. What else can we expect from "AI" other than crap?

I would like to say that turbo tax gets better every year BUT.... there's always a but... they hide fees everywhere. I literally had to start all over because I couldn't downgrade and saw a huge $248 fee at the end from something I had unexpectedly agreed to. Read all of the * and + because they are sneaking this year. I ended up starting with the free edition but then HAD to upgrade because of a form I used but it came out $100 cheaper than originally. Then at the very end, they try to sneak in more transaction fees ($40 to pay with your refund) and another $xx to have it sent to here and there. You literally have to scroll down and unfold some hidden accordion tabs to find the basic FREE transfer. I mean we are already nickel and dimed all year long, can't even buy food and everyone has to get a piece. Furthermore, I spent like 4 or 5 hours doing my taxes that have taken me 1 hour tops in the past.

Great As a customer, TurboTax makes filing taxes much less overwhelming. The step-by-step questions are easy to understand, and the platform guides you through each section without making you feel rushed or confused. I appreciated how the system explains tax terms and checks for errors before filing, which gave me confidence that my return was accurate. Experience

This year completing was ok but getting the return filed has not been easy. I filed with Turbo Tax for several years and never had this much difficulty printing returns, saving returns and filing returns. Not sure why this process became so difficult this year.
