Using it for the first time. Have used Tax Act several years ago for a while. Then started using IRS & KY free file options. Decided to switch to software in 2025 as I am aging and am making mistakes. I also wanted to make things easier for my wife in case I move on before she does. I like the interface very much. I also like features where I can upload documents that are processed and data extracted and entered into TurboTax. Finally, I am assuming that it is accurate -- will find out what the IRS and KY State have to say. I have not reached out to support as yet, but I shall as and when I feel I must.

Using the On Line method of filing was far more confusing and less convenient than a simple Turbo Tax Advantage. Since we were filing using the standard deduction it was all unnecessary and the resultant $109.00 fee contradicts The online Order Summary which says those fees would not apply. The offer letter of 12/18/2025 states "you accepted the offer to use Turbo Tax Online for no additional cost". I am too worn out from this method that I signed off on everything and will reevaluate my Turbo Tax option next year. We have been filing w/Turbo Tax for a long time and had already paid $75.00 for Turbo Tax Advantage 2025 when this offer was made and accepted.

I was not happy with turbo tax. I paid for a product to run on my laptop. I was forced to enter everything online. I was forced to agree to allow you to use my information on other products or I could not complete the tax return. I like to have the program on my laptop so I can go in and out when I want and not have my information all over the internet. I also do the tax returns for my 2 daughters. I paid for up to 5 electronic tax returns. I hope that won't be a problem. You make it sound like I got my taxes completed for free. I paid $79,99 for turbotax...it was not free!! I just realized I can't even write this review unless I AGREE to your terms and conditions. UGH

It was a little difficult switching from last year desktop to this year online. There were some of the things/icons of companies from last year that I didn't know what to do with. Also TurboTax somehow couldn't e-file my returns right when I was done, said my AGI didn't match. It was difficult to figure out the work around to be able to manually enter the AGI and e-file. Hoping next year it wil be smoother now that I have used online once.. Overall however, the interfaces were otherwise very easy to work with, as was the uploading of forms etc..

In my many years of using Turbo Tax this was the first time it did no go smooth and the first time I actually had to call in. While the person answering my questions seemed very knowledgeable he seemed surprised at the problems I was having. It did appear that this product was not ready when it was published. Too many things to list that did not go smooth. Last year went great and I was expecting a much simpler process, that I did not get. What should have taken me 15 minutes. Took multiple sessions and over and hour. Pretty disappointed.

Price gouging everywhere you turn. Not only have they taken away every free option, but now in addition to the cost of filing federal, it costs to file state. Remember how you used to be able to pay your filing fees out of your refund? Now that costs $40! If you don't want to pay that $40, you have to pay now upfront with a credit card. It also now costs $35 just to have your money direct deposited, unless you want to sign up for a Credit Karma checking account that you don't want. I can handle a fee for using the product, I get it. They're providing a service. But seriously? TurboTax, we've been in a relationship for 13 years. But I think it's time for us to break up.

Overall very good. Still need to make data transfer from Retirement Accounts & Pension Statements more seamless. Every year there are some companies you can't pull info from, and I have to put all of it manually, which makes it take longer, and is less accurate. And I've requested some companies year after year be included, and still not aligned with Turbo Tax. You are very complete. And have helped me not forget anything. And you check and recheck a lot, which is fine by me.

This year, I experienced several technical issues while using TurboTax. I was unable to submit my return due to a persistent glitch during the final steps of the process, specifically when selecting payment options and determining how I would like to receive my refund. The system repeatedly redirected me back to the payment selection step. After several phone consultations and screen-sharing sessions with the technical support team, they were finally able to identify and resolve the issue. I appreciate their assistance and am pleased to report that after a week's delay, I was ultimately able to process my submission and complete the payment for the TurboTax service.

I delayed my filing because the Tax (Form 1040-SR, line 16) did not match the Tax Tables for my Taxable Income (line 14). I finally figured out the Tax was from the Schedule D worksheet. An explanation of how the tax was calculated would have been very helpful.

This year's interface was confusing and nonintuitive compared to years past. I've always used Turbotax but was very disappointed this year. I won't be using them next year and I sincerely hope there aren't any errors on my taxes because of it. Do no recommend.
