Turbo Tax makes it so easy to complete my Federal Tax return. The program knows all the right questions to ask to find credits and deductions I probably would have missed. Sure, there may be less expensive options out there, but in the end, you get what you pay for!

It gets the job done, but makes it more difficult than it should be to to see their calculations. My pet peeve is that after I spent some time entering my itemized deductions, it says that "We (meaning TurboTax) found you some tax breaks!". No, *I* found those tax breaks, thank you very much.

Too many upsell attempts and questionable tactics. TurboTax constantly pushes upgrades, making the experience frustrating. Even worse, some tactics feel like deceptive attempts to gain access to personal and tax information. If you’re trying to estimate taxes before official forms arrive, this software is not user-friendly—a major downside, especially for those planning Roth conversions. Additionally, once you’ve paid, there’s no way to restart your return, which is simply ridiculous. Cost too much for a simple return.

I feel that they made changes to their program from last year. I remember it being very easy and straight forward. Now the questions they ask are very wordy and I'm not even sure what they are trying to ask in the first place. Very confusing compared to previous years i have used.

I use the TurboTax CDs in prior years and I found this online version to be very confusing. When using the help for certain things, the descriptions weren’t the same as what is on the form. For example, I was looking for something, and it said to go to the tools, but there is no tools. I didn’t like the fact that you could not see the actual return and review it Before all the information is entered

I've used turbo tax for over 20 years and this version is not geared for seniors. Reading some of the print is difficult because of lack of contrast. Difficult to manuver around since you cannot see form until the end. The old Turbotax was much easier to read and lmanuver through forms. Definityly a step down from the old Turbotax programs I've used in the past. I don't know why this turbotax couldn't find my tax information on my computer?

I really enjoy that I am able to use this platform to file my taxes by myself! I don't enjoy paying for extra help from experts, and I don't enjoy that TurboTax charges so much to file, plus the extra fee for having it taken directly out of my return seems excessive- to which I'm glad I had the ability to opt out. That being said, I really enjoy how easy it is to use and filing taxes becomes a mostly stress free experience.

Was able to file taxes easily for my two income household w/ a small side business and a few kids.. not an overly complicated tax scenario, but Turbo Tax makes it easy to fill out all the forms on my own, has lots of intuitive tool tip icons to click throughout the process when you have a question, and on the few rare occasions when there wasnt enough detail on the basic version, the tool tips had plenty of information that I could clearly ask a question on google and get back a clear answer to my question.

The form seems to be giving me a $2000.00 + tax increase because I did not take out a required 43000.00 from my seps. However right on the tax form it shows that I did take out the required amount. I tried numerous ways to fix this but did not want to pay 159 dollars for your mistake to talk to someone.

I've been using TurboTax online for many, many years. Two suggestions regarding the State Tax Preparation Section: (1) It would be so much more efficient to be able to jump around the various categories, the way you can on the Federal portion; and (2) If an area is pre-filled, it would really help to jump back to the entry from which the pre-filled amount was generated.
