I should not have to pay to file, and I think your base plan is way too expensive. This is convenient, and the software is easy to use. I am furious I felt forced to spend over $120 on this. That's why you called it premium even though it is the basic price.

Keeps trying to up-sell and up-sell every chance. Also, the options I chose my final dollar charged was still $40 higher than what I originally agreed to. Feels like turbo tax gets shadier and greedier every year. Despite this, im still a user of 8 years on here since the UI is somewhat smooth and reliable. We will see how much longer this would be the case.

one price was stated at the begininng but thats only for federal. When you get to state taxes its an additional fee and if you want direct deposit that is also an additional fee. why not list these upfront so that I could add it to my business expenses, I dont know. Overall the process was self explanatory.

I have been using turbo tax for over 20 years. Stated with the FREE version. Upgraded to the Deluxe as I have self-employment. Only to go through the whole process to tell me I needed to upgrade yet again to Premium. What the heck. Oh and yes state is extra but $65 is getting out of hand. I will be starting in 2025 to use the new tax site that does the same thing FREE. This program is available through IRS.gov. Income allows for FREE federal e-file AND State is ONLY $10. I will not be doing my taxes through you no longer..

My experience with TurboTax is frustration. This company has a track record of lobbying for a convoluted tax system, effectively forcing citizens to purchase their products out of sheer necessity. Instead of simplifying the process, they profit off the complexity they help maintain. As if that weren’t enough, their relentless upselling tactics make a frustrating situation even worse. They constantly push more expensive services and products, often when customers are already feeling vulnerable and pressured. It’s incredibly disheartening to see a company prioritize profit over the well-being of its customers. I use it because I HAVE to not because I WANT to.

I was skeptical doing my taxes without downloading a TurboTax program, but I pressed forward. Had a few issues but got them figured out. Turned out to be rather easy even though my return has gotten a little less complex. Rather streamlined to do. Have been doing Turbo Tax for over 30 years and have been pleased every year.

Benn using TT for my taxes for the past 5 years and its convenient, and easy to use. I paid an arm and leg at the other places for them to do them for me when I could have been doing them all along. When I was self employed the app really helped me keep track of expenses and receipts and I never had any issues filing or with my returns. Turbo tax is great and works well for my family's needs. Even if you are scared to do them yourself I promise they walk you through step by step, its not at all as scary as you think. They take the hard part out of doing your taxes.

Had really bad experience in every way possible. Repetitive questions that I already answered. Further questions that should not have been asked after having answered no to the previous question. Way over priced. Filing taxes should be free for simple W2 tax return and I should not have to pay a tax to pay taxes.
