I switched over to TurboTax this year to take advantage of your Tax Refund Advance product you offer. I have been with H&R Block for over 15 years. So the level of thoroughness was great however, I felt unsure about the process in answering the questions and choosing all the things that applied to me and my tax situation. While I know I qualified for way more than $250 in the Refund Advance option, that was huge let down as I expected much more than this considering this isn't even 10% of my total tax refund amount. Having to open an extra checking account that I did not need in order to utilize this feature felt like a money grab which was unnecessary for me. I already have my own personal and business checking accounts and did not need another to keep up with only to receive $250. You all should have an arrow down to point to more options that may apply to the taxpayers situations. All in all my experience was okay, but I am a creature of habit and flow, so I will probably go back to H&R Block.

I've used your product for several years. I realize taxes get more complicated each year and that you are offering more 'help' (which I may pay for if I wish). It would be nice for those of us that know mostly what we are doing to let us skip to the spots we want to work on like it used to be. Also, if I want to take advantage of a sale, to go directly to the pay area to do so.immediately. I considered for the first time in years moving to a different software. Please evaluate for next Tax Year

Overall, I feel like it's overpriced for what you get - it's an online tax preparation software that follows a repeated process. It feels like that is too expensive. I don't need all the add up stuff and it's annoying that I have to say "no" multiple times through out the process. I've used Turbotax for over a decade, but I think I'll be shopping it around next year.

Easy to use. I like that it retains information from my prior year's tax returns. I start it towards the end of December and then add information after the year end date finalizes. That makes it super quick and easy to file the taxes when I'm ready.

I'm just disappointed with all the upgrading and upselling we are now unable to opt out of. I've always enjoyed the ease and treatment of military members using this program. This year sadly may be our last year using this. I wasn't even able to opt out of the state form and when adding one additional paper they want you to use a new plan.

This process was egregiously expensive and overly complicated. Fixing minor problems was made all but impossible. If possible I will NOT be using TurboTax to file next year based on this miserable experience. When trying to make minor adjustments on self employment expenses I was forced to go through a carousel of questions rather than given access to the one cell I was tying to correct. Not to mention in between EACH category I was being prompted with up charges, drastically slowing down my process. So much hate keeping. So much time WASTED. I am giving up on TurboTax entirely. Not to mention three server crashes from start to finish. Unacceptable.

I spent several hours trying to get help with a fairly standard issue and received a variety of different answers, one of which was to purchase the extra tax expert help for $159. I received help from the second person but she did not tell me everything I needed to do, so when my data was checked, there were errors. The third person consulted with a tax expert who helped me find the right box to check to resolve my issue.

I had a fantastic experience using TurboTax for my tax filing this year! The process was incredibly fast and straightforward. The software walked me through everything step-by-step, and I was able to file my taxes in no time. I was also impressed with how accurate the calculations were—everything was spot on. TurboTax definitely made a normally stressful task a breeze!

I can't thank TurboTax enough. I used it for years and was getting discouraged and had gone to another service. After my frustrating experience this year with another tax software, I came back! This was so easy, and I was really done in 50 minutes. But had a little trouble with Captcha getting stuck on my submission page. But after texting Help and the suggestion to refresh my browser, Wow I am done!

This time around I have to say I did not enjoy the program nor any of the answers to my questions that didn't answer my questions AND it was way too expensive. Upsetting and tiring! You are aware the economy is terrible - don't continue to rip people off that have no money to give
