I don't like that you lobby against the feds just sending us our taxes but you daved me more than others... I checked w other providers and it took me like 4 hours and 7 beers but i did it. you got me like $1k more than the others so gold star for you

It seemed the software was very slow to load multiple times when trying to access different pages throughout the web app. When I clicked documents, I only ever received a loading wheel. It never loaded properly, timed out, nor gave an error message. Also, is there an option to have military couples choose where their income is from and have it work properly? Even though the option is there to choose, it doesn't work properly as my military pay is not taxed from my state; while my wife, as a resident of another state, was not able to separate her income correctly.

I really appreciate the convenience and user friendly integrations and helpful explanations. But every year I hate all the hidden fees and surprise processing fee and transaction fee that have very fine print explaining they aren't actually required. I have probably paid more fees than I'd like because I didn't read carefully and cleverly enough. Which just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that TurboTax is always scheming to squeeze more money out of me by being subtle and underhanded. All the bank integrations and ability to just upload a PDF of a tax document are incredible. I would just prefer the cost to use and file be upfront and informed, and not wait until I'm an hour in to sneak in more hidden fees.

I've been using TURBO TAX for 10+ years and I've always had a great experience. Easy to use and you can review entered data at anytime. The program on the computer saves where you are when you sign out, but the mobile app does make you cover steps again. Not a big deal, but I'm sure they can fix that.

This fee for charging $25 extra dollars was very misleading. I would not have done this on purpose as I would never need my return early. There should be another checkpoint before you file to uncheck this item. I spent 15 minutes extra just figuring out how to uncheck this $25 fee. Very misleading from Turbo tax to the point that maybe it was done on purpose. Don't let me down as I have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years.

It's getting too expensive to use TurboTax. You would think that loyal customers would get a good break. I've been using TurboTax for years, probably close to 20. I started using TurboTax when it was required to buy software as it wasn't available online. I saw an ad that "new customers" get to file for free. Shame on you. How about spending less on advertising and awarding return customers. Yeah, I received the $20 discount for filing early, that's just a gimmick. You cannot tell me that TurboTax isn't making good money on filers. And to opt to receive refunds early cost $25? No thank you.

Easy to use product for moderately complicated tax return. I used a CPA in the past, and while that worked out well, it costs considerably more than the basic Turbo Tax service. And the CPA basically asked the same questions as Turbo Tax does. I suppose the CPA may have knowledge of the trickier problems, but I've never had a problem.

once again, this was frustrating, expensive and took much longer than promised despite having all of my paperwork in order. The pdfs did not populated in the system properly so I had to type in a lot of it manually. some forms pulled in to the wrong places, it wanted me to pay for the federal before even doing my state taxes. I began with a clock of under 2 hours, it took over 4 hours to complete. it cost almost $400 all in, with all of the wonderful add-ins hitting my checkbook at the las minute. I will defnitely be looking elsewhere especially since so many other services can now pull your records in from turbotax.

After using a different application for over 10 years, I kept having problems with their program and needed to call on their support team because of coding errors. I gave up after many hours spent over several days. I completed Turbo Tax in one hour, 9 minutes; got a bigger refund and found I didn't actually owe my State $2,500.

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 20 years and have always sung its praises. I tried to download and pay for TurboTax this year but I had to do my whole return before I FINALLY got my license number. This whole process was very frustrating, confusing and annoying! The cost is also much more expensive than if I bought it in the store! Rest assured, I will be telling others about my experiences with TurboTax and will seriously consider another product next year. I also liked the old version that showed my refund on the top of the screen during the whole process. The Interest, Dividend and Capital Gains portions were also harder to follow than previous versions.
