I was strongly told to use online instead of the desktop version ,which I used for decades. It was a mistake. The user interface is terrible. No easy-step. I am retired without a W2 but have income from SS, pension, and IRA distributions. My issues: I was able to use last years TT filing to populate the 2025 filing. Good. but then it couldn't find my 2024 AGI to help e-file! it successfully downloaded my 1099 brokerage statements, and remembered my 2024 charities and other things, but it didnt ask me about my estimated tax payments. It was pushing me into review without entering these! you could see I did est tax payments in 2024 - why not ask me for 2025? and then it was difficult to navigate to est tax payments. no search, I had to ask Google! On the Michigan tax filing it asked the dates of Roth conversion. Okay, but then it asked for the conversion date of my private pension. It is not a conversion and there were 12 monthly payments. something wrong here. I need to go back to desktop or drop TT altogether.

Downloaded the Premier desktop version, then took online option because it included the state filing, too. This is my 14th(?) year of using TurboTax. My first with the online version - I did not like it as much, the language was confusing and it was challenging to correct a data entry. There was a glitch in the NYS form that was never resolved. After a week of waiting to finalize my returns, nothing had changed. It's near impossible to get an e-answer if you need it. Luckily, my return is simple. But my confidence in TurboTax has decreased. Regardless, I (THINK) it got the job done and it's always been a great product. Thank you.

I’ve been using TurboTax for about a decade, and I like that I can file on my own and keep my and my child’s information private. The platform is easy to use, which is why I’ve continued to use it. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more mindful of fees. It only recently dawned on me why my return was never actually free to file, but the jump to a $99 fee at the end still feels unexpected, especially when no upgrades were selected. Better pricing transparency would make a big difference. That said, I will continue to file through TurboTax because the costs are not the issue.

1. Did not ask me about my 1040-ES payments, I had to figure out how to add that to my tax forms. 2. Arizona form 140, line 29b for uniform services retiree pay did not deduct my military retirement income. I had to do that separately in another line item.

I have successfully used TurboTax for many years, and this is the first year to complete them online. I have enjoyed accessing and working on my return on several devices. The format of the online version is different from the earlier versions, but very adaptable. I love that the software integrates all of last year's information automatically. I appreciate the accuracy and know that I can reach out if I need additional support.

Accuracy is above and beyond to the point of asking to fix things that should be known from the imported documents from the financial institutions. Fixing and trying to understand these things took up way to much time. Overall Turbo Tax is an excellent product that I have used for many years.

Everything was just confusing and the forms were difficult to enter. The retirement form was not listed. My bank doesn't transmit. I had to take a picture and upload. This whole process was time consuming and not necessary. Have been doing my taxes for forty years and this was excruciating as long hand.

I spoke with one of your experts with a problem I was having on a 1095A form, she was very helpful and made sure we had the information to fill out our forms correctly. She was very knowledgeable and knew how to fix my problem. I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone needing there taxes done.

I asked about my Senior Discount and how do I add it for over 4 hours, after giving up and accepting the lost...I reviewed my return and it gives it to you automatically...The question "are you 65 or older" is no longer there...Just are you legally blind...4 hours wasted had it said you will get it automatically

This year completing was ok but getting the return filed has not been easy. I filed with Turbo Tax for several years and never had this much difficulty printing returns, saving returns and filing returns. Not sure why this process became so difficult this year.
