I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. However.... I can't exactly say why, but the interface this year was nonsensical. It was like a corn maze. Yeah, I got everything done but I went down a lot of pointless dead end links, and I'm still not sure what information I agreed to share with Turbo Tax. I feel like I was in a social engineering experiment. Unless Turbo Tax is more transparent and more intuitive, I will look for another way to prepare my return next year.

Some of the steps were confusing. Then the review popped up an error and it took me quite a while to determine how to fix the identified error on my state return. Finally, I was charged for a "Premium Services Benefit" but could not figure out how to drop that charge. I was so frustrated with it that I just gave up trying to get the charge off and just paid it.

I've been filing with TurboTax for years now and I'm continuously impressed and pleased with the interface and services. I've learned so much about taxes and my personal finances and tax situation, and encourage all of my family and friends to use TurboTax because of the continued positive experience I have each year. Both the TurboTax product and tax specialists are so kind and patient, and have thoroughly reviewed any troubleshooting questions. Thank you!

Great product. Filed my taxes in under 30 minutes with Itemized deductions. Price is a little high for service actually provided. I did not need assistance aside from entering the information digitally and converting/sending to the IRS. I also remember when they gave Federal away free

I prefer filing taxes myself so that I can pull together all of the documents I need. When I did use to use a tax professional it took more time because I had to gather everything, label it and leave the house. To be able to do a great job on my own at home makes it completely worthwhile. Turbo Tax is easy to use and gets better each year!

Everything works fine. I don't think TurboTax should exist, just like all 3rd party tax companies. It shouldn't be this hard to file taxes in this country, and I shouldn't have to pay extra to make it easier. Dodging upsells the whole time make the process even more frustrating.

It doesn't bring up all the items from previous year. Need to search it a lot. Pay more for basic when no new features are added. Quit making it like it's helping so much. Nothing different between basic and the other packages. I tried it with each package and kept starting over and none of them were different, yet you pay more. It's turning shady.

The help and information last year were much better than it was this year. New AI function failed to give correct or even relevant information. I had to research for help online. Also I have a special circumstance on a inherited IRA that requires a RMD and the review says I do not and should uncheck the box, this issue was handled correctly last year.

TurboTax is really easy to use. I had a lot of problems this year with the Military discount that involved me on the phone for 2.5 hours in total (many calls). We finally got it fixed with a service code and an amazingly helpful customer representative. I would give her 5*, if I could. She was great! TurboTax needs to make sure the discounts they offer on their website actually work so military members don't have to spend hours on the phone frustrated.

you suck there wasn't a place to enter my pin on original filing. could only enter it after return was rejected. I searched for a page to enter my pin and could not be found. I clicked on help but was not taken to a page to enter my pin resulting in needless delay in getting my return accepted by the IRS
