It's fine. Everyone knows taxes should be free to file, the IRS absolutely knows what we owe and could easily issue refunds without all of this rigamarole. However, you continue to lobby to keep your product expensive and relevant. And, you advertise constantly instead of allowing folks to choose once. Your business model is taking advantage of people, so 3 stars...?

I've used Turbo Tax for almost 10 years. I find it generally easy though in combination with the tax codes, there are always some questions I have to get more information on before answering. Some parts of the program are more intuitive than others. Overall, I feel I can trust Turbo Tax to prepare my return correctly.

I've used TurboTax to file taxes for the last 15 years. It was always a good stable product. Definitely over the last several years I've noticed a dramatic increase in the number of attempts to upsell or re-direct the consumer to something other than what they intend. Definitely gets frustrating when simply trying to navigate through the process and get to the next screen. Curious with the system now tracking how much time is spent filing taxes, how much of this time is just clicking "continue" or "skip" or "Don't Add Max Benefits". Seems like there is a large opportunity to actually streamline the product if the goal was better consumer experience, not increased profit opportunities for Intuit. Only other comment on how product seams to be worse than previous years is less ability to just skip to forms and enter data manually without answering a dozen questions upfront. Not sure of the benefit here, just seems confusing and unnecessary.

I struggle this year on getting my Tax Credits for charities into the right forms. It's probably my error but I had to wait for the review tax reveiw process to enter the charity codes. I would recommend to have the information entered during the initial process and not wait for the review.

It gets a little worse every year. The price goes up and up and the quality and confusing bits increase year over year. Also, pretty sure this is new this year but now there is an extra $40 feel just to pay turbo tax out of your federal return. Eww. But it gets the job done I suppose. I might have to try a different service next year though if this keeps up.

This was so easy and fast. I started using another company took me 2 weeks and I was going to owe over $800. I took the time to re do it all with TurboTax not only did I get a refund in the thousands, but it was also competed in less then 2 hours. Thank you for all the help and ease. I recommended this to my family as we where local to another company for over 30 years.

I've Used TurboTax to file my taxes every year and i always pay to file with my federal return. I don't remember having to pay a $40 fee to do that ever in the past. I already had to pay you guys $138 to file and now i have to pay $178. I don't know if was a thing in the past and I just looked over it. But I if it wasn't i don't like that it is now. Before seeing that i would've given a rating of 5 stars but now i'm giving 3. I do like the product but it just seems like you are adding an additional fee for no reason.

The product is easy and great. The only issues I had were on my 1099-INT when added originally through a snap shot the BOT entered wrong address for the payer and at the end when I was trying to file, I could not because the zip code did not match the state entered. The software took me to the form, but would not let me correct the address only the zip code. So I then had to go back to the beggining and delete the form and enter by hand. Some may not have been able to do this, so a quick tutorial there would be good. Also, on the 1099-NEC I had entered it, but when I saved and came back in, the BOT had me enter the information again, I am not sure if I clicked something to cause this, but then at the end the same situation happened, the review had 2 1099-nec and I kept trying to remove it fromthe review area, but this was not an option, but perhaps should be, or again, maybe a tutorial on how to remove the form, which i had to go out and to the main page again and delete the extra form. lastly, when I went to file and pay, I was on the mobile app and I was trying to enter my employee discount code, but could not do this from the app. I had to log in on a computer to do this. These were the only issues I had, but they were very frustrating.

Your system would not let me e-file my AZ state return because of the Property Tax Credit. I am NOT claiming the property tax credit, however, your system could not understand that, even though I completely redid my state return stating "None of the above" for the property tax credit. Very disappointing that I had to pay for the state return and could not e-file it. I will find another service next year.
