Accuracy overall seemed to be correct but Form 7206 was completed incorrectly by the software, plus it doesn't seem to be required. The related deduction was correct on Schedule 1. The Form was not deleted when I tried to do so through Tools. I noted no resolution of the issue in Turbo Tax Support, despite many questions and comments by users.

What a terrible service. What a terrible world that we have to pay some company to file our taxes in the first place. If they're going to spend millions lobbying to block a federal free file system, the least TurboTax could do is make this easy to use and stop trying to upsell us every third screen.

overall, the experience is good. The obvious trickery with the added features at the end is insulting. Other than that I enjoy the product. I just wish the wrap up process wasn't so sharky. Turbo tax makes it way to hard to remove unwanted upgrades at the end

Good experience but after a certain amount of years filing with the same tax service, I expect a free service code at least. I've been with Turbo Tax for at least 10 years or more. I love filing with them and its so easy to do, I would always recommend Turbo Tax to my friends and family,

I have filed with TurboTax for many years. This time, it was not as smooth as it has been in the past. Although I entered some new information, I did not receive hints about possible tax credits that I later realized I could get. The "ask a question" tab was not very helpful this time either, the information was just copy and paste from the IRS without any clarifications nor examples of situations that may apply.

Last year the experience was great. This year it was much more difficult. Turbo tax did not add the credit for my 529 contributions, and there was no way to go back and edit that section, so I'll have to file an amended return. They were very quick to add opportunities to spend more money on the product, though.

the questions and overall process seemed pretty well explained and easy to understand but at the end the system wouldn't let me change my order where there was an extra service I didn't want added but to take it off I would have had to start over. I went ahead and filed to get it done but it upset me.

No upfront pricing. You get all the way through the process (in 3 hours, not 30 minutes like they tell you), and at the end you're told you can't proceed with filing until you pay an extra $71. I'd already agreed to pay $39 for State filing somewhere in the process. So, at the end, I was held at gunpoint to pay $110 to file my taxes. Yes, I could have stopped and filed somewhere else, but I'd already given them all of my information and given up hours of my time. I don't plan to use TurboTax next year for this reason.

I have used TurboTax every year for over 25 years. It has gotten better, faster and more accurate each year. Despite the complex tax laws, they keep the tool updated with helpful prompts looking for ways to find ways to help the customers not over pay on taxes and get the best return possible.

We have been using Turbo Tax for more than 10 years and have never had a problem getting our refunds. We haven’t needed a tax expert to help us so far, but it’s wonderful having the option if needed. We haven’t gotten our parents, children and grandchildren using it over the years.
