It does the job, but there is always an extra charge for something. When I started using it, I was able to do more with it and it didn't cost anything. Now, anything I may need extra costs extra. As many people that use this site, it should not be as expensive as it is.

I appreciate how easy it makes to file taxes appropriately under each Section. I feel like I did get the best refund I could have however it ended up costing me 160+ dollars to file everything when I can do it for free elsewhere, which I probably will next year

Every time I try to make a click selection it brings up a definition of the term. I have to carefully click on an edge around any lettering. From the start, I couldn't figure out how to buy a product. Inside my account it offered to bring up previous year but then asked for a download but I hadn't bought any. The system wouldn't let me see products to make a selection. Then somehow it started and said it would select at the end. It seemed blind like I didn't have an option for a cheaper version if I wanted it. Previous years I got over $600 from state. This year $10?? I have to say it seems quick once it starts. Particularly when it pulls over info from previous years. Don't like that the company seems to have this info tho. I will not do this again.

It was fast and easy. No math , no calculator, no waiting. Most of my information was saved from last year and any new info was either a drag and drop or a quick input, and they did the rest for me. I prefer TurboTax than a tax preparer because it's all online and I'm not having to wait for and pay for a human preparer

It's ok, I mean it's taxes. But it is funny with the part where "No need to pull out your wallet" to pay, but I have to anyway to get my drivers license to prove my I.D.. Maybe rethink that. Spend 40 dollars to still have to 'pull out your wallet... funny

I have used Turbo Tax for decades and have loved the ease of use. This year was drastically different, very cumbersome and difficult. I do not like it! I have always purchased the CDs for use, but this year I had to use the online version. I don't know why the programs are so different now, but they are definitely not better.

The actual product is great. The constant attempts to upsell products and services during the process of working on your tax return is annoying and confusing. You have to be a bit savvy to avoid additional costs and sharing of your information with other parties. I've used Turbo Tax for years. I'm less impressed with it over recent years due as I have to be on high alert to avoid being tricked into buying or paying for something I do not want.

Some parts are OK and some are not. The entering of 1095-A data continues to be glitchy, but a bit better than last year. The software will ask the user to remove each zero in the form, one by one, whether or not zeroes were printed in the actual form. That part is a pain. However, many parts of Turbo filing are helpful and convenient. It is NOT FREE, contradictory to the TV Ads. If one is a repeat user, the free offer does not apply. Not very nice for repeat customers; sort of a disincentive to be a repeat Intuit customer. If one changes a phone number, prepare to go through a whole mess of bureaucracy in order to refresh the account data, update password, and/or regain access. As one is filling out forms online, there are dozens of pop-up ads for premium upgrades, also very annoying.

This was a pain. Things didn't make much sense, needing to go back and redo everything sometimes made the time increase a ton. I had to re-enter forms because there was a weird glitch where it was asking for ein when I selected and entered properly ssn information on 1099 forms. Out of the blue, this was cleared several times prior

the questions and overall process seemed pretty well explained and easy to understand but at the end the system wouldn't let me change my order where there was an extra service I didn't want added but to take it off I would have had to start over. I went ahead and filed to get it done but it upset me.
