some screens require scrolling to enter data or advance also, some screens (myriad) in ny state seem to requre entiring zeros for not/applicable (very tedious) when in fact one can skip the entire list. this should be an option by offering "skip" boxes on the question page. otherwise one has to toggle back and forth. the real-time calculations are superb and provide confidence building feedback. this part is 5-star. price is very reasonable

Turbo Tax is always user friendly. If at any time i have a question, the search bar is easy to find, and the response is quick and easy to understand. As a loyal customer, i do feel the price to use this software is getting too expensive. Please consider discounts for customer loyalty.

Reliable user interface. However, when I completed my Federal return, TurboTax said it could not yet file my state return, and that it would let me know when I could do that. I never got notification from TurboTax about the ability to file the State return. When I checked back, the State forms were enabled and submissible. That's a pretty big stumble for a relatively expensive service.

Importing everything is very easy. Love the interface. This is my first time earning money as a musician and TurboTax made it a lot less stressful to enter everything in. Some of the categories were a little confusing but that's probably due to my lack of knowledge. Overall great site to do your taxes.

It's always easy to follow the entry aspects, but there are certain terms that I really don't understand that likely don't even apply to me. However, this year, it seemed to had to reload quite a few documents which should have automatically been there.

I would have given you five stars, but you have a glitch that appears to come from taking photos of 1099-DIVs - the program mushes together the payer's address and the recipient's address. It is impossible to correct this in the final review, so I had to delete three 1099s and re-enter them manually. It was either that or file by mail! Insane! You have known about this problem at least since 2020 and you have done NOTHING about it. SO. You're gonna tell me in the beginning, that I can file for free..... very good. Advertising is America's most skilled attribute compared to any country in the world. Most of, if not every one of these companies that advertise a "free product" are certainly lying to you. Turbo tax is not free. If you want to file... you owe them a $100. Plain and simple. Its not free

When the CSA 1099R from OPM is used for federal retirees, these do not have blocks beyond block 15. So when I e-file with state of Indiana, it gets continually rejected with message, 1099R-025 - If 'StateAbbreviationCd' is IN, the state distribution 'F1099RStateTaxGrp/StateDistributionAmt' must be greater than state tax 'F1099RStateTaxGrp. So this time your system did a popup, for me to add the distribution amounts into block 16. Hopefully, my Indiana return will get accepted this time, after six rejects. If this does not work, I will print and mail the forms, which defeats my desire to do electronically. My Federal return has no problem being accepted, with block 16 missing. Therefore, this has been very time consuming and frustrating

There shouldn't be so much trouble in removing or downgrading a service. Every time I tried to remove max benefits or downgrade to the basic return I got an error. When I called the representative gave me the same steps the website did but neither could downgrade me or remove the products.

Very easy and Intuitive to use - my favorite Tax Software - However..... Fees are rediculous. Way too much money is being asked for and it almost seems scammy to offer the ability to pay the fees with my return when you tack on a $40 fee to do so, at the END... If you all ever lower those fees to a more reasonable price (I would say roughly 50-60% of the OG price it was today), then maybe a 5 star review would be in order. The fees are to the point that I would be happier going somewhere else if it means paying less. I might as well not have gotten a state return they were so expensive. $200 roughly. and the only add on I selected was a 5-day early depostit for $25. Shouldn't have even chosen that. 16-day difference in speed of deposit vs 21-days is neglegible for the cost.
