I prefer having the software resident on the PC. Disc or download. I would also prefer the 2023 or earlier input format and interaction. I want to be able to save ALL the inputs/records. The import feature bombed, twice. I ended up having to delete and re-enter most of the 1099 data manually as it doubled entered data, and got it in incorrectly. Maybe that was a Fidelity issue.

The experience is very good and nice. The AI generated topics was helpful but in some case like the Ordinary Dividend for the State return, the AI suggested that i can review the state return for the same but could not find it exactly in the location provided by AI

Since I'm used to s/w on my computer I found the on-line version much harder to skip around in to add what I wanted to add, when I wanted to add it. In addition, while it added my info from 2025, it insisted, when doing the e-file, that it could not find my return from last year and I must have used a different s/w program. I've been using TurboTax for decades.

I was unhappy with the cost of the online product. Also, the SW no longer allows you to easily get to the forms that are behind the interface. It forced me into an upgrade from the Deluxe to the premium due to a mistake that could not be corrected without clearing all my data. This may be the last year I use turbo tax.

This year seemed a lot harder to find simple things like where to put in quarterly estimated taxes, etc. It also asked multiple times throughout the process if I wanted to upgrade .. that was really irritating. It seems like they are purposely making it confusing to try to get you to upgrade to get professional help. I've always been a fan of TurboTax but I'll likely be looking elsewhere next year.

When I switched from TurboTax Desktop to TurboTax Online and imported last year’s tax return, all of the dependent information was missing. This kind of error is very easy to overlook. It might be the reason which caused my tax return got rejected in e-file. I used TurboTax Desktop version which doesn't have this issue. The online version has a worse user experience than the desktop version. It sometimes jumps back to a previous section while I’m using it. When I’m writing the review in this window, even basic actions like deleting and inserting text become glitchy—characters get mixed up or deleted incorrectly. This kind of basic bug should be avoided. I’m using Windows.

I had a lot of trouble finding the K-1 form. I type in form 1041 as seen on the K-1 form and turbo tax wanted me to buy another turbo tax for $190. After much google searching and different try's we found a link that gave us the right entry point. Poor work by turbotax

Forcing me to file online because you choose to not have a windows 10 version is outrageous. I have used turbo tax for over 10 years. Plus you charged me twice for the software, first when I bought the download verions and again when I was filing the online version. I WILLNEVER USE THIS PRODUCT AGAIN~!!@

I liked the format of the pages less this year. The questions don't seem as thorough to make sure you think through every situation. There used to be more details on each page about calculations, why info is needed, how info is used. And there used to be more pop ups for additional details you could access on each page. Now it seems you have to search more; less convenient and less user friendly. I liked the feeling that Turbo Tax educated me as I did my taxes.

i have used this product for 4o years. I am becoming less pleased with it every year. items have become too repetitive. more complex and more difficult to understand. does not return to where you were before entry, but takes you back to beginning. does not ask for information such as Estimated Prepayments!!! You can not see Tax forms until complete which removes the feel of complete confidence.
