Searching finds that this is a common issue going back to other models of Buds but Samsung refuses to acknowledge it is a bug. Chatted support and they just said "have you tried it with other devices?". Tried on a 2nd Windows PC and same thing - microphone at 3% so the other end can't hear you at all. Told support that and they said "Well, did you try it with a phone?". It does work when paired to my android, but I purchased these to use VOIP on my PC. Great sound quality, but don't buy if you want to use as a headset with a PC.

I like the ANC I like to listen to music while doing yard work. Also if somebody is talking to me it lowers the music so I can hear what they are saying. They sound good, are comfortable and stay securely in my ear. I have only sparingly used galaxy AI, maybe as AI gets more ability to perform tasks I care about or is easier to interact with in a meaningful way I will leverage the feature more, but it's great to have the features.

I have had these since release. I like the sound quality but am not a fan of how the noise cancelling works. Even when you turn on the active noise cancelling it allows you to hear people's voices. It says it does this for safety and so you can hear people. If I am listening with noise cancelling I don't want to hear anyone. I want complete noise cancelling. I am trying to listen to my headphones while my wife watches TV and it is allowing voices from the TV to come through and even be amplified through my headphones. I want complete and total noise cancelling that I can turn on and off not one that does it when it feels like.

Sound wise they sound absolutely amazing, and using Galaxy AI they are able to automatically switch between having ambient audio on it off which is an amazing feature.

This leap in build quality is also followed by a leap in technology. The Buds 3 Pro genuinely sound better and have better noise cancellation. I was expecting these to fall out of my ears more often but they just don't. I work retail and the active Galaxy AI live translation feature is really really helpful.
