Cooks rice perfectly which there are different buttons for different types of rice which I like that. It also has your measurements on the sides if you don't have a measuring cup which is comes with as well as a rice spoon.

I rinse my rice over 4x before cooking and it STILL caught over HALF a bowl of excess starch… let’s just say, the starch was escorted out peacefully lol. This reduces carbs by over 30% or more and that alone has my heart! Best of all, the rice was perfect, not mushy or slimy at all like my old rice cooker..RIP to that ol thing! can eat rice without the guilt spiral! That alone is a WIN! Bonus points: it’s not just a rice cooker, I’ve made beans, oatmeal and quinoa in it and EVERYTHING came out perfectly fluffy and cooked. The ONLY downside is the cook time—-it can take 45min-1 hour but honestly? WORTH IT! I’d rather wait a bit longer for cleaner, lighter rice that doesn’t make me feel blah afterwards. Love rice but hate the carb regret? This cooker is THAT GWORL!! ✅✨

It reduces the carb content of white rice if you use low carb mode, but you can also use it for cooking regular rice. It took 40 minutes to cook white rice with this GreenPan, result is delicious, perfectly cooked white rice! I used it for our bibimbap recipe. I loved that it doesn't have toxic materials, also easy to clean, comes with a rice scoop! Size is also good for a rice cooker, when I need it I place it on the counter. It has different settings and different options, from rice to oats, even beans! I gave 4 stars just because even it says 8 cup rice, the max amount of low carb rice you can make is 2 cups or 2 and half.

The outside is perfectly designed to stay touchably cool. It's very lightweight and durable. The carb reduced rice came out PERFECTLY! I didn't adjust the settings at all. I just cooked my white rice exactly as instructed in the brochure. My family thoroughly envied it.

At one point it started spilling over and I followed the instructions to the t. The assembly was easy and I like the size.
