Maybe I'm broken, but this "timed release" Melatonin doesn't work for me at all. Gave it two weeks, every night, no joy in Mudville. I'll be returning it for a refund. PS, The older, now discontinued, cherry-flavored 5mg Members Mark melatonin worked great, every time. Oh well.......

I've always been a "nite owl" which was great when I worked the midnight shift! Unfortunately my life was sudden and severely altered, leaving me with a very dysfunctional sleep schedule(believe I read a midnight shift worker lives 5 yrs. less than an equally healthy day worker). I have tried: (1) prescribed medication=zombie like state during the night and the next day! I actually fell asleep in my thanksgiving dinner face first! (Tryazidone<sp>?). Then I branched out into the natural cures- which worked,but they left me feeling drowsy ALL day long! Another problem with most of the natural sleep meds was some could in such deep sleep I wouldn't hear the alarm...most of time. The volume in my alarm could wake an entire family! (2) The only OVC drug that seemed to work well & kept me asleep for 5 hrs. was Benadryl. I became concerned that the constant use of Benadryl would decrease its efficiency during an allergy attack. I'm highly allergic to shellfish, but love them=consume in small quantities + Benadryl! Finally, I read an article on Melatonin and this "seemed" to be the answer I had been searching for. The next time I was in Sam's club I searched and found it. The 10mg. 250/container is what I had been searching for. I advise to take about an hr. before your schedule/hoped for sleep time. LOL! This has done wonders toward me! I'd highly recommend it to anyone having a struggle with their quality/quantity! it works when it's supposed to, but leaves me bright and happy for the next morning! I'm so glad I found this!

This really works, but is pretty strong. We normally give 3mg at my hospital and this is 10mg, but "time released." I became sleepy within the hour of taking this, but did not like the "hung over" feeling I felt the next day. I will try taking 1/2 of a tablet next time.

These do not work. If you read reviews and someone says it did than it's the placebo effect. These don't do anything but leave you with no sleep and something to return for a refund. I have tried many melatonin products and these are by far the worst. Again they do nothing at all.

I bought this because I was taking two 5mg tablets,so this was more cost effective. I gave the product a week--during that week I averaged maybe 4 hours sleep per night--when I take the dissolveable tablets I fall asleep within 30 minutes, and average 8-9 hours per night. I, also, experienced headaches and was restless through the night. So, I returned and got my usual tablets.

Hadn’t looked at the 10mg until we opened these. Concerned that it is too much melatonin as my daughter when using melatonin only uses 1-3mg. Melatonin helps her with getting to sleep, but concerned that the higher dose will add to daytime sleepiness. Go with what your doc suggests. This is too much in our opinion even if split it is still more than what she is used too.
