I've been taking 2-5mgs of melatonin most evenings for the last 10 years. I fall asleep faster taking 5mgs of cvs brand. I didn't realize these were time release tablets until I got home and used them. I would recommend taking it before getting ready for bed.

I think I lucked out and got the bottle full of sugar pills. No, really, these don't do a thing! Took as many as 5 once and didn't help with sleep. Back to name brand for us.

These do not work. If you read reviews and someone says it did than it's the placebo effect. These don't do anything but leave you with no sleep and something to return for a refund. I have tried many melatonin products and these are by far the worst. Again they do nothing at all.

Hadn’t looked at the 10mg until we opened these. Concerned that it is too much melatonin as my daughter when using melatonin only uses 1-3mg. Melatonin helps her with getting to sleep, but concerned that the higher dose will add to daytime sleepiness. Go with what your doc suggests. This is too much in our opinion even if split it is still more than what she is used too.
