Bought this for my grandkids age 3. They love it! Has 2 speeds, of course they love the faster speed! Even has reverse. Tires are a little slippery on small surfaces. It struggles on a small hill in our yard. Tires just spin. Would recommend a back up battery also! They never want to get out of it so definitely ordering a second battery.

I bought this item for my son who just turned 6 years old. I bought this item because it looked great and it said it was for children of 4-8 years old while others were for younger children. The item has met my expectation and my son and daughter (who is 4.5) both love it! However, I do not believe an 8 year old could sit comfortably in this truck. As I said, my son just turned 6, and he is probably on the tall side for his age, but he just fits with his legs with the seat pushed all the way back. If you are buying for someone older be aware it may be a tight fit. But overall very pleased with this purchase.

This thing is super cute! My son loved it and was SO excited to drive it. Pretty easy to put together. Worked great the first day. Plugged it in that night to charge. The next day it didn't work. I called the company and they walked me through troubleshooting. Got it working and it was fine the rest of the day. Next day.. same thing except it quit while my son was driving it. SO ANNOYING!! In order to get it working again you have to get into the back by the motors and basically jiggle wires. If it happened once then fine but I'm not going to jiggle wires everyday to make sure a brand new product works as it should. Ridiculous. Returning this hunk of junk.

Overall my son loves this ride on. The assembly was extremely difficult to follow and we had a missing piece. Not a fan of the charging compartment. You have to remove a screw each time you need to charge the battery. Took about 2 1/2 hours to fully assemble.

Tires are hard plastic with very little traction/tread. Not the best on uneven grass or gravel,tires spin easy. May have to fit some rubber tires around the plastic and glue and screw to the plastic. The manual used to put the gator together is a little tough to follow at times with the photos.

I purchased for 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas, she loves it. Seems to be of good quality, instructions are a little vague, spins wheels when first starts to move, but when it gets to moving, all is good. The seat is a little close to the steering wheel, but adjustable (might take a test seat for future reference). Overall, I think it’s a good buy.

Was a Christmas present for the grandkids, my grandson loved it, he is 3 and tall for his age, so it fit him nicely, he was able to drive it without any problems, little sis along for the ride. It is a nice child’s toy . But in my opinion it is over priced and expensive for what you get, basically a plastic toy, no thrills bells or whistles, hope it holds up, but my grandson loved it , it made his Christmas.

My neighbor had one of these for probably 5 years and her 3 sons outgrew it, but not before they drove the HExx out of it. It quit working and she put it out by the street. I rescued it for parts but put a new battery in it and IT WORKS GREAT. My grandsons love it so much I bought a new one to go with it. NO FRILLS - High Speed, Low Speed and Reverse and a gas pedal. That’s it. Doesn’t even have an on/off switch, no radio, no remote. In other words - THERE’S NOTHING TO BREAK! And everything about it is really tough plastic or metal. My wife weighs less than the ‘maximum’ so she tried out the new one and it works great too!

This ride is awesome. The kids love it. Its a great deal and very popular with the other 4 year olds in the neighborhoood. Its battery lasts a long time and the power is good enough to push 3 of them if one of them jumps in the back, even when they aren't supposed to. The directions on assembling it weren't that bad, you can figure it out pretty quickly. The ride is great and the kids will definately like it.

Bought this for a Christmas gift. Didn’t have it a month and it will only go in reverse. The toy has never been mistreated, just driven. Our grandchild loved it but unfortunately it did not last. This was a lot of money for us to spend but we were excited to do without in order for him to have this.
