I purchased this because it is made in USA & willing to pay more money then rather buy from import made, i experted it will be a lot heavy duty or better construcion than the imported ones. I am a bit disappointed on what came with it, no horn, no mirror, no actual lights, no seat belts and the assembly needs some technical assitance even only a few parts to put together, the AIS needs to improve to give more details specially when comes to install the dump tray joint in the back. The dashboard are all stickers, looks cheap, the wheel has no traction, the reverse gear has to press down to works, making kids hard to make the reverse by pressing down, truning the wheel & pedal down all together in one action and no subspension, last bad thing is did not come with quick charger ( 2 hour full charge), it comes with a charger that need to charge the battery full with 18-20 hours. ( " 3/4 of a full day) The battery wont hold up charge, mine ran out 45 min to an hour at normal use on flat road by my 4 years old son with 35 lbs only. i will be calling for an RA for the replacement of the battery & charger next day or two. Come on ! John Deere, $350+tax , you got to do better than that ! You are comparing yourself with import products, how that's make you feel with the products you are calling "made in U.S.A.", be fair to the consumers who support local industires, employment & economy.

I purchased for 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas, she loves it. Seems to be of good quality, instructions are a little vague, spins wheels when first starts to move, but when it gets to moving, all is good. The seat is a little close to the steering wheel, but adjustable (might take a test seat for future reference). Overall, I think it’s a good buy.

When I picked up the Gator, the box it came in was half shredded and opened. The worker was very embarrassed about the condition of the box. She asked if I wanted to accept it. I inspected the product which seemed to be in decent condition. All the parts were there. To register the product, you have to have a manufacture date. I am waiting on an email from PegPerego as to where to find the date. After putting the Gator together and giving it to my 4 yr old on Christmas morning, all seemed well. My 2 sons rode the Gator for about 5 hours and the front axle broke. We will see how the company handles the issue when they return my email.

We were very happy with the size and quality of the John Deere battery ride on for our Grandson's as well as the choice for Daughter to pick up at a local WalMart or have it shipped which we chose for easy of the young family. Quality vendor WalMart as well as quality product. Very satiisfied in all aspects of our purchase. Best part of Christmas, surprising the kids!

I must say that I expected a little better quality with the John Deere name and price. Just assembling the product, the pull up piece for the back tray snapped. The product does not drive well on the grass; the wheels spin. This was very disappointing because I bought this little tractor for my new 6 year old girl (she is average) to help her grandmother in the spring and summer with flowers in the yard. I don't think 12 volts is enough voltage either. It seems to move very slow. If I would have seen someone else with this product and saw this I would have bought a different product. Very disappointed for my daughter on her 6th birthday.

It is great for my granddaughter. She loves the speed (good for age). She goes around the yard and fills up the bed and then goes dump it. She loves it so much, that she rides it almost every day. Yes, the wheels spin on uneven ground, etc a little, but ALL of the power vehicles for age 2 - 8 are the hard plastic wheels that don't have much grip. So this isn't detrimental to this particular vehicle but to all of them. It only took about an hour to assemble and most of that was putting on the all the decals. At the pivot point under the bed, we put a screw into each pivot because the pivot round piece would fall out each time that you dump it. Beware that this isn't a toy that they can use right away; the battery takes 18 hours each time to charge up before using.

Love this vehicle and can't get my boy out of it. I recommend checking out the YouTube mods on everything from increasing traction (by either adding pneumatic tires or wrapping the plastic tires with mountain bike tread) or making an external charging port or swapping out the battery for power tool batteries. This has been the best Christmas gift ever for the little man, and we're planning on just giving him upgrades for future birthdays and Christmases that we can install together. I don't recommend adding all the stickers as they will peel, like any sticker, over time.

My husband and I were not 100% sure that this would be a good purchase for our 4year old (recent Bday) due to his height. Well, it was! He still has plenty of leg room. He gets hours out of the battery-powering it at full speed. He loves loading the bed up with rocks and sticks. It climbs up hills well so he feels like he can follow his dad around the entire yard while he is mowing. We have no regret and our son is having so much fun!

We did SOOO much research trying to find a power wheels that would go up the hill on our driveway, and also go easily over grass. We werent 100% sure this one would work but based on other reviews decided to take a chance. It really worked great. It can go all the way up our driveway on the 2nd setting and can go easily on grass. It needs a little help getting up a grassy steep hill but that was okay with me. The kids love it.

This ride is awesome. The kids love it. Its a great deal and very popular with the other 4 year olds in the neighborhoood. Its battery lasts a long time and the power is good enough to push 3 of them if one of them jumps in the back, even when they aren't supposed to. The directions on assembling it weren't that bad, you can figure it out pretty quickly. The ride is great and the kids will definately like it.
