Both can operate it well and prefer the faster speed setting. There is plenty of room for both to ride at the same time (ages 5 and 3). The 5 year old actually has more leg room on the Peg Pergo John Deere tractor, but he's slightly tall for his age. The boys run both of them nonstop for over 2 hours before it needs to be charged. The instructions frustrated my husband until we found a YouTube video. I highly recommend this for keeping them busy and happy but would but like I said earlier; the 5 (almost 6 year old has far less leg room than he does on the tractor which is smaller. The tractor is fast (on the higher speed setting) though so he doesn't mind driving it. The slower setting is highly recommended until they understand how to operate or if you have lots of things they can run into in your yard.

This was a Christmas gift for my children and they absolutely loved it! Assembly took about 2 hours. Walmart had the best deal. Very happy with this purchase!

I am very happy we purchased this Gator!! Between reading several disappointing reviews and a previous bad experience with a name-brand ride-on toy, I was very scared that I’d pay all this money only to have the Gator be a total bust… something break, not work properly, etc. However, I am thrilled to report that after two weeks of heavy use (and I do mean heavy— four kids at a time, up and down ditches, even an 8 or 10 year old driver at times), this Gator hasn’t missed a beat!

Great grandson loves it but has no parents controls

It takes a long time to assemble, but it’s a great car! The trunk doesn’t latch all the way so it falls down occasionally.

Excellent product!!! Sturdy and runs excellent in the cold weather... my grandsons age 4 and 6 were living their dreams at Christmas this past year.

It's OK - of the 3 we purchased, this is the one that gets picked last consistently - I expected more with all I read regaurding this brand prior to purchase. It works and it's a quality product - my kids are just not as interested in it as the other 2 we purchased (2 Kids aged 3 %26 5)

Looks pretty good. Doesn't drive well in the yard unless completely flat. Besides the bed in the back, absolutely no features - stickers where there should be lights, buttons, horn, etc. Not worth the cost, even on sale. Returned.

We bought this for our twin boys 4th birthday. It was easy to assemble and worked great initially. We have only had this toy a little over a month and it will not keep a charged. The boys do not even ride it anymore everyday and it is always adequately charged but it dies after a quarter of a mile. Such a shame Because the boys love their Gator and it is such a cute toy. Definitely not worth the money! Do not buy.
