It worked very well right out of the box. The tires are not great on snow.

Appears to be high quality. Have previously owned Peg Perego products for my child and now the first for my grandson.

Great toy for toddlers! My kids love to jump on the gator and ride around all over the place! Very age appropriate.

Well, I can't attest to the actual product because I was stuck with a severely damaged product 2 days before Christmas. I chose to order online and ship to store so I would receive right before Christmas. Go to pick up and box is tore up. I look and take a chance on it being okay, not much choice as there are no others in stock. Get home pull it out of the box and it looks like it was in a head on collision. Oh well I guess Santa isn't bringing that one, not any in stock within and hour drive.

Watching my grandson see it the first time was worth the cost. The directions need words. Putting the dump bed on was difficult by just looking at the pictures. Walmart was very easy to work with. I had to order it and had it delivered to a nearby store. The workers at Walmart were very helpful in pickup and loading it into my SUV. As my 2 year old grandson says, "I love it".

Assembly was more than a minute but I understood the instructions and thankfully I read the insert pamphlet before I started. My son really enjoys riding around. He uses the bed area to drive around the yard and pick up the dogs toys. He likes to haul stuff around for us outside when we’re working on the plants. It’s pricier but we really like it. I did but a few of the Jeep’s for the older kids but I have to say this gator makes him feel like he’s actually doing stuff because he is!

The experience wth Walmart was great. I ordered online with instore pick up and it all went smooth. My issue is with the size of the product. My kids just turned 6 so I was looking for something they could both enjoy, my little girl is average for her age, while my son is on the smaller side, more like a 4 year old. The age range is 3-8, so I thought we were good, I was wrong. My daughter can't sit in the gator with her legs in front of her. We put the seat back as far as it would go. This was from santa and my son loves it, so we couldn't return it. I would say the age range should be 4-5, if your child is on the smaller side. We are still 30lbs from the weight limit, but we will never get to that point. Just disappointed and now need to find something for my daughter.

My granddaughter picked this out, to help grandpa around the yard this summer. We were so excited. First, it took my husband 4 hours to assemble. The tailgate is not secure and falls down randomly. There are no bells or whistles like horn, lights or music which I thought would be no big deal. My main complaint are the tires/traction. The tires spin in the grass almost constantly. She had a no-name jeep that she rode all over the yard, and up and down hills and rocks, but not this one! That’s a big disappointment since I paid double the price of the jeep for the “gator”. It does drive around the driveway area quickly. She likes pushing down the lever to reverse. I bought some peel %26 stick traction runners to try on the tires. I also saw one reviewer put large screws in the tires for traction. For the price, I wish the tires were sturdier/built to drive around the outdoors.

We live in the country, there is not a piece of flat ground anywhere. It's all grass, dirt and hills and this goes so well! This is the fourth ride on toy I've bought and all have been duds for where we live until this! It pulls great and the bed works even with my son's seat all the way back. Instructions are easy to follow, it's easier if you have two people just to help hold things. Pay attention to the direction of the treads on the tires! Would highly recommend this, my son drove it for five hours almost nonstop when we got it, very happy three year old.
