My 4-year old (as well as my 9 and 11 year olds!) loves his new ride. It took him a few minutes to figure out how to drive it, but now that he's got it, he's a pro. Assembly took a little while. The service ordering and paying for the vehicle was great.

I bought it for my grandson 4th birthday he just loved it. He has a 2 yr. old brother who loved riding around with him. They had so much fun. This is a fun toy, well made, sturdy. It is easy to assemble. Like the John Deere tractor, which we purchased for my grandson a couple of years ago, it can be made even better by purchasing bicycle tires and hot gluing the tread around the tires. This added tread will let the tractor or Gator go anywhere. And I mean anywhere, even in snow. I would say that you had better be a pretty short 8 year old to fit the Gator, but we are thinking that the seat setup could be tweaked as well when the time comes. The box is great for hauling, my grandson loves it.

Tires are hard plastic with very little traction/tread. Not the best on uneven grass or gravel,tires spin easy. May have to fit some rubber tires around the plastic and glue and screw to the plastic. The manual used to put the gator together is a little tough to follow at times with the photos.

Product works very well, but it was missing the pins to the dump body. I called and they said they would mail them out. I thought they should have overnighted them and apologized for the error. Also, the gas pedal keep dislodging, which I need to call them on.

This toy is my son's favorite. He wants to ride his gator all day. We've had this toy for a couple of months now and he has put some serious miles on it. I wish the toy was a little better built- a lot of the plastic is cheap, but overall I'm still happy with this purchase.

Was expecting more from the Peg Perigo brand. Plastic wheels, not 4x4. battery does not last a day. No sounds or buttons for the passenger. Not worth the price. As its only RWD, it gets stuck in medium thick grass and any side hills or bumps. Reverse does not stay engaged, the tots have to hold it down. Battery does not last a full day, maybe 2-3 hours of driving for a full night of recharging. Passenger has nothing to do, no buttons, sounds or anything. Plastic wheels have no grip on gravel or grass.

I ordered this item for my daughters 2nd birthday she loves it and can drive it pretty well with some steering assistance and does sit on the edge of the seat but I wanted that I wanted something she would drive for a while around the property. To be honest it’s ok, we ordered one and had to return it because it had no bolts to put it together with. The next one came in no problem went together pretty easy. Now that’s she’s trying to drive it around it just can’t get much traction in the rear the tires are just constantly spinning it doesn’t matter if it’s grass, packed gravel, packed dirt, or the slab. Definitely doesn’t get enough traction to go up a small incline. If she sits in the bed of it and her sister drives it helps because it’s added weight to the back but obviously we don’t want that all the time. I added some blocks to the bed but I don’t feel like that should have been needed. Plus that’s the area where they should play out there own dirt and sticks and such not blocks stacked in the back to go honestly I don’t feel 100% confident with them back there and one of them try to move the block. Speed 1 and 2 are essentially the same speed and though at her age it’s ok and average person does walk faster than it. Overall for the price I should have opted for the fourwheeler that is an off brand like her sisters though they can’t ride together it did much better on our property and still going strong 4 years later.

There are no written directions with the product, just pictures, which made it hard for me to put together. I can't get the bed to go all the way down with the seat back for my tall child. The toy is great, my 3.5 year old loves it. For how big the box is, I wish it came put together, that is my only complaint.

My son loves the Gator. He puts his juice in the cup holder and takes off across the yard. We placed two pieces of wood in the dump bed for weight. My son is lite and our yard is no completely flat so we added the wood to help him get more traction. It took my husband an hour to put together. So far we are very pleased.
