This John Deere wasn't designed for the country. My son spends more time sitting with the tires spinning on the grass and on gravel then he does riding around. This product stinks because of the cheaply made tires. I would not reccomend this product to anyone and wish i never spent 400.00 for it. It was defintely a waste of money!

I thought I was getting a great product because it was built in the USA. I was so disappointed, I had bought this for my grandsons 3rd birthday and it quit running after 2 months. My grandson son was pretty upset because he loved it and you would think paying that much it would last longer. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Best toy ever!

My 3 year old Loves his Gator! He has no problems driving and steering it all around the yard. The seat is adjustable, so as he gets taller we can move it back. It has a tailgate that lets down and you can pull a lever to dump the bed. It even has a cup holder! So many well thought out features perfect for kids. The battery has a long life. We keep it on charge between uses. This Gator is made in Indiana, which I thought was awesome. FYI- the box it comes in is Huge! We had to strap it to the roof of my SUV b/c it wouldn’t fit through the back hatch. Yes, it’s an expensive toy, but my little guy is getting hours of enjoyment from it. Highly recommend!

Fantastic ride for 2!

I bought this for my sons's 2nd birthday, while he is able to touch the pedal he has a hard time pushing the pedal, steering and watching where he is going. No doubt, in a few months I know he will be driving the gator everywhere. My daughter is almost 4 and LOVES to drive her brother around. It drives great on flat roads/grass but struggles a tad to go up hills. They love the back of the gator, they toss their garen tools, babies, snacks, water in the back and go. Its fantastic! I wanted something they both could use and the Gator is perfect! It's so nice to go on a walk and not have to push a dbl stroller.

Poor warranty and service, it doesnt last.

Pegperego only offers a 6 month warranty on the tires, battery and charger. They offer no help if you are outside of that warranty. For the price of these, it is a poor warranty plan. Everything that doesnt fail has a one year warranty. John Deere should look for a better brand to rep their gator!

Great Product

This product is extremely durable. Our 4 year old son loves the "real life" features this gator has. The best thing about this tractor is that is doesn't get stuck in our yard. He is able to follow us anywhere on this tractor without a problem or needing a push. This was by far the best toy we ever bought him!

How this sells is beyond me

We just got this and put it together. There wasn't an in store model, so at $400 we made a few assumptions...wrong move. The only metal I can see is the axel. The rest of the body is made of a soft plastic, the whole thing bends when a kid gets on it The suspension is fake. I have a 5 year old that weighs like 45 pounds, can't fit in it without contorting himself. When the seat is all the way back you can't really lift the bed (and seriously, who puts a pull there instead of putting in a lever on the side???). The pedal is directly in the middle of the vehicle, the other thing there is also the very long gear shifter, makes it awkward for reverse and when driving slow. Hopefully whoever designed this monstrosity of cheapness is unemployed and will stay that way forever for disappointing kids. This vehicle should be in the $150-200 price range, you are paying a $200 premium because it is John Deere, especially since it is only a 12V battery.

Great toy but not built solid

This toy looks awesome and my son loves it but it amazes me it looks like it is going to fold in half when he sits down. He is only 35lbs and when he sits down the floor looks like it is going to fold in half. I am surprised there isn't more structure underneath to stiffen the whole thing up.

A Must Have Gift

So much fun. Please set aside 1-2 hours (depending on assembly skill level). My four year old loves it. It is sturdy enough to hold 9 year old son with 4 year old. It is two speed and can easily go from grass to straw natural terrain to rocks. Very well made. Highly recommend and it is worth the price.

Best toy ever.... At first... Now it's broke...

The best toy ever... at first! My kiddo received this for his 2nd birthday, he absolutely loved it. Fast fowrad a year and a half later and he's literally driven the wheels off it. Three of the four wheels are cracked through and both gears are stripped. For as expensive as this is, the quality did not meet our expectations.
